I think that having some sort of table of contents at the beginning of the video where you present all the different categories you're gonna focus on would be a very small but a significant addition. That is because I find myself really enjoying your videos but if some aspects you're focusing on aren't that interesting to me I tend to click away and by adding this type of list of what you're gonna focus on at the beginning viewers like me could get a clear view if the presented aspects of play interest them. Just a thought though, keep making amazing videos :)

He clearly is nowhere near the pirlo level yet, would like to see him in a more posession based team - but his weaknesses are there to be seen. He is slow in his play also which pirlo was but that was to buy him time, he seems to work better with less time on the ball than with more time (see his poor short touches) - but thats just from this video I might be too harsh

Pirlo never had people comparing him to Pirlo. He played as a forward or attacking midifelder until 2001 when he at 21-22 was loaned to Brescia and he played as regista to give room for Baggio. Sandro Tonali maybe hasnt found his perfect playstyle yet, also young Pirlo would have struggled in that Brescia team as well. The regista idea is pretty old school, the pace is so high in modern football that Im unsure if Registas and classic numer 10s have room in the game at the moment

Pretty weird profile. Difficult player to use properly. I find him similar to Porto's Romário Baró, with Baró being better with short 1 touch passes in high density areas. Can't do a long ball, tho.

Excellente vidéo. Je trouve cependant la comparaison avec Pirlo un peu injuste pour Tonali, qui est encore très jeune et qui a une grosse marge de progression. Rappelons qu'à son âge, Pirlo faisait un flop à l'Inter. Ils ont certes pas mal de similarités - bon jeu long, résistance au pressing, débuts à Brescia, poste - mais je les trouve malgré tout très différents, et la vidéo l'illustre bien. C'est vraiment pas rendre à service à Tonali que de le comparer à un des meilleurs joueurs italiens de ces dernières années. Laissons-lui le temps de prendre de l'expérience et de rejoindre une meilleure équipe où il sera en condition d'exprimer ses qualités. Là on verra si c'est un fuoriclasse ou pas.

Oui d'autant plus qu'avec des qualités différentes je trouve que les choix ressemblent plus à ceux de Veratti : Les passes courtes sont pensées de manière assez semblables, les longues tranchantes aussi et les petites balles jouées vite sur cou franc n'en parlons pas. D'un point de vue défensif la manière d'attaquer un espace est semblable à la différence que le hibou n'étant pas bien haut ni fort, il tacle beaucoup et joue peu à l'épaule. La gestion du duel en terme de distance est la même. Et puis bon la conservation c'est trop évident. Pirlo a eu toute une carrière pour évoluer et je ne me souviens pas de ce que ça donnait à ses débuts.

Soyez pas injustes ! Pirlo a son age c etait un jeune talent pas tres prometteur psk il etait positionne en n10 ce qui ne lui allait pas du tout. Tonali doit integrer une meilleure equipe pour travailler avec des coaches, staff, coequipiers plus talentueux. Il peut devenir bien plus utile que pirlo defensivement ce qui permettera des formations ou le coach est pas obblige d aligner un gattuso ou un vidal pour faire le sale boulot

Clearly, there is a potential but this isn't something exceptional. The skills he's showcasing is basic req of an Italian regista. Gilmour shows better maturity, passing range, less risk-taking and a better tackler... In short - good analysis but a wrong title for the video... Maybe the title belongs to someone else!
