I just ordered a plunge based on your recommendation. I used my HSA. I had to break up the purchases due to a cap on how much can be spent per day. So I purchased the chiller and tub on different days. I went with the pro chiller since it is more quiet and has ozone!

Pro Tip - you DO NOT need to replace the filter every month. You can wash the filter out with warm water and spray it down with dawn dish soap to dissolve all of the oils and such in the filter, then rinse it out well. I have owned a pool for years and know well that filters rarely need to be replaced, just cleaned. I have owned the plunge all in for a few months now. I use it every morning, sometimes twice/day, my dad also uses it most days and I’ve had many friends use it as well. So it gets a ton of use. I clean the filter once a week, but you could easily get away with every other week too. Don’t waste your money on filters every month.

Great video! One other aspect for the pro chiller is you need a dedicated 15amp outlet correct? Does that require an electrician?

it shouldnt, 15amps is pretty standard for all outlets. You might depends on where you want it and how much you have pulling from that line

Plunge really has a poor reputation as far as workmanship and customer service. You say that its due to shipping, but there are NUMEROUS customers that talk about leaks or chillers that stopped working....neither caused by shipping....and the nightmare of trying to be made whole by Plunge. At that pricepoint, there's no way folks should be having the same experiences as those that bought products from Alibaba or the likes. I hope they have their stuff together with this next generation of Plunges. But from reading the different forums, there is absolutely no way that I would consider buying one.

@ your story is all too familiar. Plunge *looks* cool…and the cost says that it *should* be a quality product…but the customers say otherwise. Its wild that Maus just made a vid about how crappy the knockoff/rebranded chillers are. Then turns around and praises Plunge. And tries to blame ‘shipping’ on most of the issues with their chillers. Disappointing.

Yea it’s unfortunate. I relied a lot of KZbinr reviews of Plunge products, which I should have known better. I had an All in and Sauna delivered today. It makes sense that there really aren’t reviews outside of content people. The All in had a crack upon arrival, and now it is leaking from the filter area. Initially I thought maybe it was damaged in multiple places from delivery. After reading, just seems like the brand can’t execute. Really ashamed of DMJ representation of Plunge products. They said they would replace mine so we will see. If they don’t I’ll have to go through my credit card and an attorney.
