Just ordered one after a lot of research and looking at videos. Initially I was going to spend $600 total.. LOL. I was planning on a rubbermaid tub and a Walmart chiller. But the more videos I watched, I realized I would need a 1 hp chiller to keep it cold. I live in Wesley Chapel, FL with brutal summers, I'm not really a diy'er and didn't want to build a box for the tub and insulate it. And a wood frame would be super heavy and not easily moved. I looked at Desert Plunge, loved the insulation and a tight fitting lid. The tub will go on my back porch, have direct afternoon sunlight and I have no worries the water temp will be perfect every time I use it. The cost is middle of the road, and taking $ from my HSA is making the cost more affordable. Looking forward to my first plunge in a week or so. Appreciate the videos David! You def helped me a decision.

So ModTub vs the Desert Plunge? Look very similar! SW Florida heat will be a challenge so a well insulated tub with top level chiller and filtration will be a must

How does the Desert Plunge compare to ModTub? They seem almost identical. DP is about $3755 with ozone while MT is $2975 with ozone.

@@readyme couple different reasons. Price point was a no brainer, mine is outside so I like the fact it’s in a giant cooler so the chiller doesn’t have to work as hard especially in summer. I got the 450 which was only offered by Desert plunge. It was a toss up between Mod and desert plunge and I just went with desert plunge
