You can choose how you want to act on a daily basis. We shouldn’t be attached indefinitely to an idea of ones self. Change can happen at any time during a lifetime. It take a decision and choice. No, it's not soothing at all. He commits a massive faux pas right away, not even knowing who he's meeting. The genres of goth are gothic rock and darkwave. Manson is shock rock.. He's literally the mainstream's attempt to capitalize on goth and hijack it. You want goth music, actual goth music. You should first look to the original goth music, by the godfathers/mother of goth.. Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees. This was back during the late 70s all the way to present..... yes they're still active. I could go into the entire history of goth music, but I'll skip that to the present day. I like how Manson is like, so... have you gone to visit the Pope in the coma? Pope is like "Well shit, why didn't I think to do that."

0:20 manson broke character, u could see him starting to smile. Tht wasnt scripted. They kept it in because he looked kinda of sinister

@Шалтай Болтай its pretty obvious, Manson is a performer, not a actor.

@@aalex4609 i just rewatched it, id bet life on it. Look how they cut from so quickly when he started biting his lip trying not to smile. There is absolutely NO REASON for him to do tht for wht the pope said. They kept it in because of how sinister it ended up looking.
@aalex46094 жыл бұрын
V PeRK V well Marilyn made a choice that the editor/director/both appreciated. Do you think that was the only take the editor had at his disposal? It was a good choice. They kept it, regardless of marilyn’s intentions. Sometimes editors like to sneak reactions as well. And there is not really a sinister undertone in this scene from what I gather, and I can’t see an editor foregoing a rhythm to add something that doesn’t fit. If you want to bet your life on this, cool. But just for fun, go check out how the process works. Either way, it’s cool you enjoyed it. Edited: grammar and general succinctness

Always loved Marilyn for his music videos, it's a pleasure to see him acting as well. And regarding the look, some people here have missed his message. That is something I will always respect him for.

Absolutely BRILLIANT series - Sorrentino is one of the most incredible directors out there. Each individual shot is framed meticulously. And every intro to each episode is different and thoroughly entertaining. Just super-artistic stuff.
