Audio features aren't its strong point. You drag a file over to the timeline or its part of a video. File formats. So so.

Yes! I am super excited to jump into an animation experience designed for 2D artists. I used to do 3D animation but it was too tedious. I never enjoyed it.

Between now and nov2023, good idea to learn procreate before hands on procreate dreams. 6:31 live action? What baseline hardware actually for iPad? Storage onboard or cloud or external local storage? New dream file format, so what best recommendation in work process if importing procreate file or other drawing app file formats or Photo design Serif or any svg, raw, or movi, mp3, or ogg? Any support for compression? Archival formats? Support for RGB, CMYK. Adobe, Pantone, Clip art studio, etc, blender files?

Lots of good questions! But yes, you can draw on top of live action exported as frames with the same fps as your video source 👍, or less fps to give that ‘stop motion’ feel

Not that I know of, but they always ship with a great selection of artistic brushes!

I did the math, if the maximum amount of pixels on one project is a million by a million, then if each frame is the resolution of a standard ipad, at 24fps, you can make an animation that's 3.6 hours long. That's longer than endgame

That is indeed a very good question - let me check on that but I would say it’s probably dependable to the size of the total file and your storage on the iPad

​@@boycubI don't think so my guy,....it was promised that you can make a full length movie on this thing if you want. so on that note, it will not have limitations as to the numbers of frames or layers you can use. Remember, they've built a new technology for this app which will help how best to use the iPad capabilities in term of GPU and CPU. So sorry for rambling....I hope I was able to communicate my thoughts?.

Look at Handbook for Dreams. It'll work lesser or better on a range of devices, but definitely best on M1 etc.

@@teyundecided3073 you are right. But in upcoming 2-3 years AI is replace 2d artists and animation artists. If anyone wants to survive in a long term. You have to be updated or someone or AI will replace you. But in future procreate dreams can upgrade this as a 3d animation and AI tools also. I hope they will provide AI tools in procreate for artist in future like photoshop good in generative fill.
