This game literally makes me want to make a career out of competing in fighting games to in turn eventually compete in this one and try to be one of the best at this game. It's been a while since something had me this excited. So, im definitely gonna be practicing the hell outta guilty gear to get ready for this games arrival 🔥.

I'm glad that riot is finding other ways to introduce League of Legends outside of their own game such as the Netflix animated series Arcane and now this upcoming fighting game that has the 2D tag fighter mechanics from Marvel vs Capcom with the combo breaker and counter breaker from Killer Instinct. The champions that I want are Warwick, Renekton, Volibear, Alistar, Thresh, and Kayle. I just hope the roster gets wide and diverse.

I think the tag mechanic will have a short cooldown, at least the normal one. But that's fine with me since the movement you have seems to be a lot more than what other fighting games give you. The pressure might not feel the same in this as it would it something like MvC or DBFZ

Imo Tag assist should be short cd, as it is used in combos, handshake tag would be longer, to intensify smart playstyle, not just spamming, and combobreaker similar to burst in guilty gear, but I would like it to be two separate bars for both champions

Don’t get me wrong sir. The project l fighting game video, is so clean and dope. The gameplay physics reminds me of Guilty Gear, BlazBlue and Marvel Vs. Capcom. That’s awesome!

This game is looking like it's going to be as fucked-up as BlazBlue TAG and Skullgirls, and that's a big turn-off for me trying to actually learn it. At least it's probably going to be fun at the casual level and for the people who like Versus games. Ahri looks specially fun with airdashes and projectile oki.

I'm not all sunshine and rainbows about this game. How come for a company with near unlimited budget these updates feels like the game is still conceptualizing it's core mechanics 3+ years down the development? Graphically it looks dated already, the art style saves it, and Riot does try to make their games run on almost anything, but i'd be lying if I said it looks better than Strive. I am cautiously optimistic that the game will be good, but something is certainly off about the drip feed of the information we're getting.

Yes they do, but Riot acquired the studio back in 2016... Same year sf5 released, in that roughly same time frame Capcom managed to more or less fix up sf5 to a state where it's considered not a shit game, AND announce Sf6 which looks like it will release next year. You could argue that Capcom didn't have to iterate much between games, but the Riot team had also a ton of prep work done by League itself too. It just makes me wonder if Project L team is just that minuscule that this is the actual pace of their development. If that is the case we're not getting this game until 2026 or something.
