@@kaoticghost-whitererun7539 have you played endgame encounters. no offense but especially after the well nerf this is flat-out not true. broodweaver has some of the best ad control in the game with infinite suspending and it is the highest dps warlock super (discounting nova bomb just because it benefits from the seasonal artifact). ever since strandlock came out it has been the second most prominent subclass in endgame encounters where you didn't need to stack more than 1 or 2 wells.

Prismatic warlock. Where you spawn threadlings from pheonix dive. If you use that and either pop transcendence or song of flame you can shoot. Pheonix dive. Shoot. Pheonix dive. And spawn a ton very quickly. Definitely would use this more as a secondary damage and ad clearing weapon. Very good overall damage and good dps If you run out of heavy.cant wait to run through the raid. Got through a couple encounters in contest but never finished.

Warlocks can build stacks fast as hell using weave walk and weavers call! It also stacks to 25 with some insane dmg for a special weapon!

Ok so i have it and did some dps phases with friends on the witness and i can say on strand warlock with apotheosis veil, only the hunter nighthawk build can beat it. Every dmg phase i was hitting 3.3mil+. And sleeper hit 2.3mil and rocket izzi was doing 2.5mil (these are rough numbers because skill is always at play, but there is no chance that anything beats it out unless its hunter gg build) Celestial was doing around 3.7mil consistently Absolutely wild on warlock strand considering it will also maybe get another perk (if its not a bug) and also ITS A SPECIAL so u can use a MG for ads and stuff Also keep in mind we had no debuff or well(buff). Just surges and the weapons

​@@nell9956- Seriously, I did Deep Stone Crypt on 3 characters every week for months, trying to get the Eyes of Tomorrow exotic rocket launcher. Took me like 74 runs to get it. By the time it finally dropped for me, the damn thing had been nerfed into the ground, and was only good inside of Gambit. 😩 lmao But I don't think I could go through all that to get this weapon, if it came down to it. I don't want it bad enough tbh, and plus... that raid looks punishing as hell. I feel for Sherpas, clan leaders, and long time raiders, cuz they're gonna have their hands full.

Looking for the highest damage is fine and all if all you care about is optimizing, but I would have liked it if the the exotic raid weapon that drops from the witness to be more cool and adjacent to his powers instead of just strand.

I’m wondering if running grapples on a warlock to spam spawn threadlings off a anchor for max stacks would be valid, if you’re fast you can get all 8 melees in in under 10 seconds for the max buff solo, it’d especially good if other people can proc it, just imagine 3 warlocks all grapple melee at the same time it’s already at 9x, as long as there’s a strand hunter or navigator it’s near infinite upkeep

@@orangejuice1418 Yea sure, but we don’t have a specific exotic for our class. We buff all rockets. Hunter got their Celestial Nighthawk Sniper and can’t be used for Titan. Warlock got the threadling build for the new raid linear fusion. Basically these exotics shine in their classes, but titans do not have a specific weapon that can be used by titan builds for the most part.

so, spindle can stack to x25, meaning it gets a 50% buff at max strength this can be paired with apotheosis on strand (not prismatic, we want to use thread of evolution) warlock with threadling grenades to near instantly hit x25, thus doing slightly more dps than celestial still hunt spam would recommend checking out ehroar's video on the subject

Has no one noticed he maxed the stacks at 25? Like while doing the nightmares the gameplay shows 25..? Also it dosent seem as limited as outbreak. Outbreak dmg bonus only applies to whatever the nanites stick to. But in the gameplay the threadlings were killing red bar thralls and counting for stacks. So the versatility of the exotoc is pretty high.

I think of the raid exotics this one is only second to conditional finality. You can get some serious DPS with this thing especially since it's a special. The fact that you can run this as a DPS weapon as well as a heavy for DPS (or ad-clear) is criminally underrated by the general D2 community.

Give it a little bit of time so that more peeps in the community learn the mechanics, etc... and then try it out using lfg if you have to. 9x out of 10, it's NOT the negative experience that a lot of folks make it out to be, it's just that people tend to focus on that 1 bad time, and forget all of the times they used lfg & it turned out great. 😅 lol Don't give up. But their class was needed and strong. Also, making a gun that synergies with one class, but not giving the other classes that treatment is weird. The new raid exotic also synergies with warlocks, so we might get one that goes well with Titans. My point of view it's kind of like when d1 during the taken king had the class specific exotics but these can be used by all classes. Without a doubt this gun will be nerfed most likely requiring more orbs or precision shots.
