Message back when you can. Hey Ott me and my wife leave in a subdivision with a man made bayou around it and we live on one of the ends. Please Ott!!!!! Where are the bass? The water is sometimes is pumped down during rains to prevent flooding. It clears up lots of times but it's mostly stained water. It's shallow and deep in many places. It has lots of alligator weed and it's full of hydrilla and plenty of structure for large mouth bass to hide in our Louisiana heat. I had one great day though this past November 2019 on Thanksgiving day if you can believe it. I caught 6 huge bass one weighing well over 4. I haven't caught a large mouth since the spring now it's hot and I can't find the bass anywhere. I have a arsonal of bait that I have used. Help Ott!!!!!your knowledge would be greatly appreciated

They should be under the mats. Biggest thing is they aren’t going to feed for long time periods in the heat. Right at dark and first light are your best chances to get a bite in the hot summer.
