As expensive as crank baits are these days, and as many as I already own, I do appreciate Ott giving us some starting points for their use. I’m more likely to buy a new bait if I have some specifics for application. 19 colors sounds great but can be daunting when choosing.

Bought Coosa Special. Took it out and caught one on second cast. Went back to tackle store and bought eight more.

I caught 6 fish over 6 pounds last year on that first shad color DT from a 10 to a 16!!! East Texas fish catcher!!! I lost 3 on pines Saturday in a tournament and my last 2 Sunday fun fishing. Trouble is affording to replace baits and line while supporting house of 6. Anyway love those Rapala baits of all colors. Thank you sir for your good stuff

Love the Tiny, slim and the DT series. Helsinki shad works great in my area of SW Alabama on the Mobile/Tensaw/Alabama River Delta. Big shad catches more black drum than bass for me. The DT10 in Demon Red also works well! Citrus shad is a go getter too!

The original crawdad in Dt6 and now Slim is my favorite, like you said I've caught them from Clearwater to muddy water on it, it just works.

Ott, only have two colors of the ot tiny and have caught bass on both colors here on the power plant lake where I live in Arkansas. They are Citrus shad and Heisinki Shad. Still looking for other colors. 🐟🎣🙏

You never went over the rod, reel & line to use with the OG Tiny. From the video it looks like the Crankin' Stick Rod. Had one several years back and it got broken, never replaced it with another. 😣 Have to get me one or two!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!!

Your brother once told me that craw dad was your one of your favorite colors. I took his advise. I used to use a Rattle Trap that was color was called copper. They don’t make it anymore but like the crawdad color it became a favorite as the bass couldn’t leave it alone.

Love the OG Slim and will pick up a few of the tiny. Green gizzard shad has worked for me in central GA.

I live about a hour & a half from ott & I fish Norris lake mainly & I know ott not crazy about Norris lake but that hot copper shad is so deadly on Norris lake! But I have several colors in that small crank bait! It just catches fish

Looking at the CW Crawdad color, why have they stoped using this color in the SHAD RAP lure anymore??? I have looked all over for years and cannot find any fishing outlet with any of this color!!! Designing and using these lures, I would think that you have some input as to different colors used. Would you please try to get this color put back in play on the Shad Raps!!!! I have used this color for years on Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn lakes and have been pretty successful doing so. I only have a couple left and they are so old that they are now in very bad shape and can no longer be used. I find it is a trend with lure makers to just change things up even though they are still viable, which is a crying same!!! I guess they do away with the older colors so people will be forced to buy some other new color just so they can make them relevent!!! Sorry for the rant but I’m not the only fisherman who has this same outlook!!!! Thanks for your videos, as I. Very much like what you do!!! I’m just looking for some help getting this color back!!!
