Funny thing is Germans actually did the underequipped division spam cheese IRL. When Benes (Czechoslovak PM at the time) was going to Germany to meet with Hitler they on purpose made his train go real slow through a large station and the same one train full of soldiers on a parallel track was doing loops on a circular piece of track passing him by in the opposite direction to make it look like a mass of soldiers are going towards the border.

The lichtenstein event feels a bit weird, usually the silly events in hoi4 have a buildup of things getting gradually more silly until it eventually culminates Like for example: you start as poland, flip monarchist, reject like a dozen claims to the throne, eventually appoint a random woman who claims to be a romanov, somehow conquer all of russia and iran, and only after all that can you get wotjek as your leader Its the same with other silly nations and leaders, like the HRE, papal states, empire of zion, fourth reich The lichtenstein thing feels more like a swerve into absurdity than any of those other paths

its probably because the expected reforming of Austria-Hungary is no less silly than those in the first place. and frankly when it comes to monarchs and lines of succession there is a very old claim that could see the ruling nobility of Lichtenstein taking over Hapsburg lands. its very feasible compared to Austria-Hungary reforming in the first place, and is a lot more likely to happen in such a scenario than Ethiopia ever taking over the Caribbean. frankly, given how deep in the crazy pool you already are just in being Austria-Hungary in the first place, Lichtenstein is such a small and very possible thing in that alt-history timeline. all the others you mention are all dramatically more insane and improbable. though the most impossible thing in any focus tree is reforming Byzantium. that or Chile taking over France.
