I’m a gg Stan but I like this, It sounds like what EXO or NCT might do, maybe there could be more vocal layering and harmonies and more complex production but Its good enough. It’s literally very melodical, fun and simple but not in a boring way. I love how it is able to keep that vibe all the way till the end. They didn’t force in a rap and I’m glad they it’s more on the vocals and melodies.

They actually nail putting melodicness in their rapping. Say I Need U and Beautiful World OST. Maybe this is my way of recommending haha you will never feel forcing of rap with them because if they do, they intend to do so and be straightforward to it like Slingshot and Burst Up for example

Since I saw the teasers and concept videos with those 1st gen visuals I knew this would hit. Not many groups have gone back to that 90s kind of sound and this was a bop!

Actually, it might be true that it's for teaser strategies only I kinda expected it so I did not get disappointment. It's something that they did since Love Never Dies teasers. They had chocolate, milk, vitamin ads but those didnt really appear on the mv. Those teasers seem to be more of telling which era they'll go through how ads were done during those times as well as relay the album description. And well, it seems fun to really take us back to those days for this album since there's a huge gap already, it's their theme afterall. Tbh if you've paid attention, the teasers have story on its own and they made us time travel simultaneously too (one going to the past and one going to the future and one at the present), from the captions they put out, promo sched poster as well as newspapers on IG. There are threads on Twitter explaining how they used teasers to relay their album messages with comparison /similarity of Love Never Dies and Boyhood through it while also still capturing the themes of each well
