I will definitely try to configure my new tz270 using my phone. Will see how it goes. Also, connecting to the USB port and using a phone is simply easier than the old style flat blue console cable. And every person can have a phone cable, so way to go SonicWall. I’m starting to love this thing!! Thanks for sharing Jean-Paul!

I tried importing my config from a TZ210 to TZ270. It won't bring it in so I have to re-create everything. Two hour project.

That is very plausible. Tz210 is 10+ years old and 3 generations behind. You can’t import that old unfortunately… In my opinion, after that many years, it’s not a luxury to redo your config. That helps getting rid of temporary policies that have been there for 5 years.

thank you for the video Jean. I've deployed a few TZ570 and TZ670. I would like to utilize the SFP+ 10 GB link on my TZ670. I have a few servers that have 10 GB RJ45 ports. Can you recommend a SFP+ to RJ45 10 GB Adapter?

802.11ac wave 2 is the ‘current’ wifi. The 802.11ax standard is expected to be published soon. Making it the ‘future’ wifi for now.

SonicWall recommande d’utiliser le « sonicwall configuration migration tool » pour migrer la config d’un firewall gen6 vers un gen7.

So I tried this. Connected just fine, went through some prompts and hit register and the app just sat there spinning for about 30 minutes until I killed it. What's the expected time that it should take to register a device?
