Staccato need to offer a rear-sight filler with an optional PMO plate that has a traditional rear sight behind the optic for those who prefer it, that also alleviates the gap between optics like the standard RMR and Holosun 507/508-series that do not protrude forward toward this rear-sight template.

Can i add 10round glock mags to keep it state compliant???
@WeKickBrass5 күн бұрын
Yes, as long as you use a G17 10rd limited magazine.

Is the mag release polymer or metal? If metal, won’t it destroy the polymer Glock mags?
@WeKickBrass5 күн бұрын
Metal, yes overtime it could wear them.

A little more take up than a regular Staccato, but one it breaks, it’s clean. The reset is great!

Things i dont like,trigger, grip, extended slide release on my stacatto p i ride it every once in a while and it dont go into lock up i cant imagine with it being longer being any better for me, that one is a good looking gun, the rear sights being infront of the dot dont bother me I realise that my xc and p have a flaw i wanted to add the scs 320 to them it direct mounts but i would loose the rear sight and yes i know you can add a bunny ear to them to get your co withness, but looks stupid so i wouod even call the change a win, but while other companies are at a 2500 dollar range and their 2011s are coming with an aluminum grip stacatto chose to go the cheaper route , you got kimber their gun finish look awsome, serrations, aluminum grip , bull barrel out of the box, jacob gray aluminum grip, bull barrel , i think and hope stacatto gives the option on their website to choose a 2011 grip module on their website or go for the glockatto version of it

If you’re that worried about drop safe kids sell your ar’s your ak’s and your shotguns because they’re not drop safe either
@fearnonebutone497712 күн бұрын
Exactly! Nobody cared about the series 70 design during WW 1, WW 2, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War… and that was a battlefield. Military and police have used and do use SBR’s and AR platforms in war and on patrol, and none of them are drop safe technically. But now that some KZbinr made a video that his XC discharged when dropped from a height directly on the muzzle at a 90 degree angle… all of a sudden staccatos are unsafe and shouldn’t be carried? No. People don’t realize how rare the scenario is that the gun would be dropped from the specific heigh AND directly on the muzzle. I’ve seen videos of officers dropping guns during scuffles and all of them fell on their sides. Never directly on muzzle. Not one.

@ only pistol that goes off on its own is sig. Staccato is a series 70 design and has to be dropped just right not just sitting in your holster dumbass😂😂😂🤡

Damn Glock is just king of everything… everyone just has to always take something from Glock and add it to their platform.

it’s not that serious glock just makes cheap reliable stuff that nearly every gun owner has and can get without a hassle to please and accommodate new/more customers
@CarlosSanchez-uh9ud17 күн бұрын
@ it is that serious… if it wasn’t, staccato wouldn’t be copying glocks way of doing mags 🤔
@WeKickBrass17 күн бұрын
@@CarlosSanchez-uh9udthey didn’t make a new magazine, they just made their grip compatible. Glock is known for its reliability and the most common pistol out in the market, it makes a lot of sense for law enforcement and military as well as civilian alike to want a more refined pistol that accepts equipment they already own.

It’s crazy how nobody seemed to care about the series 70 design during World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War… or all the SWAT and LE agencies using 1911’s and 2011’s…. And the fact that all SBR’s and AR platforms are also technically not “drop safe”, yet served in wars and deployed via LE agencies…. But now because some guy made a video about his XC going off when dropped from a considerable hight at a 90 degree angle directly on the muzzle, everyone is going crazy. This new release looks great but I’m still carrying my other staccatos and don’t fear the drop safe issue. I’m retired LE, but I would carry the P or XC on duty without issue. Again, we carried SBR’s on the tac response team and they are not drop safe either. Could it happen? Sure, but it’s highly unlikely that it would fall directly on the muzzle AND with enough inertia to get the firing pin to engage the primer. Even in scenarios where officers scuffled with suspects and their duty weapons fell, they land on their sides most of the time. The scenario that would lead to a discharge is so rare.

People that worry about “drop safe” are annoying. It’s completely irrelevant for the VAST MAJORITY of people. And even for the few that may want that on a gun, it’s still the last thing on the list of requirements. In this case, it’s probably detrimental to the trigger anyways. Time will tell but firing pin blocks in 1911’s have always made triggers suck. But this pistol was made for a niche client. Selling it to consumers is just a bonus.
@WeKickBrass17 күн бұрын
The trigger was surprisingly not that bad. It definitely had more creep and take up, but the reset was phenomenal! Once you get used to the initial pull, you can run it pretty dang good. I kept finding the dot to be harder to find than my other staccato’s, but that was because the red dot was further back and lower to the slide.

People that worry about a firing pin safety creating a crappy trigger in a 1911 are annoying. The difference is minimal.
