Hey bro, So I mainly run 4 marches Nev/Joan, Huo/Mehmed or YSG(artifact based KvKs), Guan/Scipio, Zhuge/Nebu. Now i can max a commander I'm debating between Liu Che and Hermann Prime. Which one will be better for my account? Or shall i keep hoarding and wait for new infantry? Equipment wise i have a decent second gear for both infantry and archers

Forget about being average, Guan Yu is better than most of the commanders you've placed in the good tier in terms of actual utility. A simple comparison will make it clear.

Guan is always a controversial one I still think he holds back the scipio a lot and is super squishy so that’s why I wanted him lower. His utility is good and it’s the only reason he is at the top of the average/niche

I always find Aethelflaed underranked. She not only is the only commander every single player has maxxed her first relic is free. Yes she gets replaced but so do most commanders late in the game. So many commanders and only 10 can fit in ur 5 marches.

I am basing them off the criteria I said at the beginning. I of course don’t have field reports and evidence for ever single of the 100 commanders but I have seen previous premorances and can deduct how a commander generally preforms after as more meta commanders release. As for the top picks I have seen reports and asked people in the community as well of course

I understand that point of view but some of your trash and bad categories are not those at all, instead could've made a niche roll category for certain roles instead of being trash or bad. But I do agree with the meta ones, but lots of people still use Guan so should've been put in good category those im a cav main based player myself.

You're still saying Beli's expertise is like a 60% all damage increase? Sixty percent all damage of what? It's not like beli gains 60% more all damage because most of the increase in damage will come from your other 4 marches, not Beli. It's not like 60% all damage, it's 12% for 5 marches.

No, meta is usually a 221 format. 2 marches of 2 different types, and 1 of another. But I would start with 1 of each meta march to start, such as a nev/joan, zl/herman, and scipio/lc or lc/alex.

No, the new armament system make it very hard to have full sets for a single troop type. Not the mention the new commanders completely outclass the old ones. Let say the best march of each type is 10, the second best is 9, the third best is 8,... If you run 5 Cav marches, you will have a power of (10+9+8+7+6) = 40. Compared to the Meta 2-2-1 you would have (10+10+10+9+9) = 48, which is 20% stronger
