Not only was the ark that Noah constructed done so to the pattern given by God, but the Ark of the Covenant also constructed according to the pattern given by God. If people would simply study the Bible, they would see that the things their preacher or "pastor" says is not according to the Bible. Unfortunately, too many simply accept what they are told without checking it out to see if it is so. If anyone has not read "Behold the Pattern" by Goebel Music, they should read it and learn we must do all things according to God's pattern of instruction.

the Vatican can pull a line of pope's out of Mtt 16:18 but can't see the pattern for bishops in Timothy and Titus. it's no wonder why they don't want you to read the Bible

I have a sincere question - not trying to pick a fight. How do you reconcile your contention that the idea of being born a sinner is not scriptural with what David says in Psalm 51:5 - "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me." (NIV)

In the Old Testament God laid out a pattern to worship Him. In the New Testament Jesus plainly told the woman at the well, John 4 "23 But [g]a time is coming, and [h]even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Notice the only requirements from Jesus was to; worship God. The action to worship God was in spirit, which is one from the very soul of man, and the other part is Truth. This is in reference to becoming a disciple of Christ, since Christ is truth. If one was to follow the pattern of worship, which you gentlemen are stating, then there shouldn't be any Church buildings, all worship should be at homes, since this was the early Church. Taking communion was a daily thing when the Early Christians came together. Since there wasn't an internet and therefore no You Tube, then you shouldn't be on the internet. People like to compare the Old Testament ways of worshipping to the new way of Worshipping, and this cannot be done. The bottom line is just worship and love God. That is all He is interested in.

@@kendavis5996 Actually they are. They have a zeal, and they follow the Gospel Commands for salvation. My concern is that they believe in a worship pattern when none exist, except for Worship in spirit and in Truth. We have to understand that was how the early Church worship due to the circumstances they were under. However, with all that I have said, if that is what they believe, and doesn't go against scripture then there isn't a problem. For those of us who don't believe that way, there isn't a problem either.
