Ditto.. i have very thick hair.. got an undercut w my bob and it was still easily twice the volume as this.. the crazy corkscrew random hairs are pretty much impossible to tame. My hair wet w coconut oil in it gets it semi controlled. Thick hair doesn't get the attention thin does..

Fab-u-lous! Beautiful cut and a beautiful woman. I will be showing this video to my hairdresser next week. LOL! I love the versatility of the cut as well as it is not too short, and I like my hair behind my ears/off my face. I have fine (lots of it, not thin) and wavy hair (brunette) so believe the cut will work for me as well. It's so true that there is lots more hair at the back and my hairdresser is always so proud of what she had done to the back BUT at the end of the day I want my hair to look fuller and just as good in the front, particularly as front has become thinner!

Dionna, I loved your hair when it was long and when Justin cut it recently to medium length. I have to say, though, I love this! Justin, I appreciate all of your videos. They help me know what to ask my stylist for and how to explain cuts and styles I like. For example, removing bulk versus cutting layers is an eye-opener for me. I also have had a bob most of my adult life and have never had any stylist tell me it should be angled. I would never even consider cutting my own hair, nor do I know anyone that does or would cut their own hair, so the comments about you taking business from stylists seem a bit far-fetched. I love this cut. I'm 70 years old and wore the Dorothy Hamil Haircut back in the day. I've worn it long as well. My hair use to be thick and course. It's completely white and softer. I love the length, but don't like the way it looks from the side. Too heavy. I hope I can find someone who will texturize my hair correctly. Love this video! Did a very similar bob last fall. It was time for a great shape up, watched this couple times. The idea of a layers/no layered bob, like no make-up/makeup. Looks great, will give it few days to see if I should add more…it’s Florida 111 percent shortly for next 5 months. My hair looks a bit thick, but humid. I also celebrate my 10 years in June of having a kidney transplant. This is important for my hair as the immunosuppressants we must live on have some tough side effects on hair. It’s the lose hair/sort of participle chemo. But, the most important fact is I’m good. My donor is great. I’m celebrating with her soon. Transplants are fantastic, dialysis tough.

I love it, looks so good. I love those blunt cuts. I am having a horrible time finding someone to do it. I finally gave up and did it myself with Scissors and clippers to cut the back with no tension. Previous experience as a hair stylist helped….and had to be short enough to get my arm to cut the back. I have fine hair so very little bulk. I used your tutorials & the person who cut the inspirational photo in this video, lol. The only way I’m getting someone to do this is to drive to Houston or Canada or wherever u are….still searching in Ohio.

Watching this makes me wish I’ve had hairdressers capable of giving a great bob haircut. I’ve gotten bob haircuts for years, but rarely are they done correctly for my hair type and face shape. Great cut! Could you maybe mention when you’re doing these fit cuts if they are appropriate for wavy or even curly hair? Or what the modification might be if necessary- at least for wavy hair (I know curly is whole different ballgame). I personally have wavy hair with a few cherub curls if I don’t blow dry it. If a blow dryer comes near it it straightens right out. So I’m looking for the wash n go that can be either straight or wavy/curly. This is the kind of cut that I want, but nobody I go to seems to know how to do it. I like how you thinned out the bulk. The stylist in my area use what I call “pinking shears” which only causes my hair to look like a fuzzball my hair is so fine. I have a lot of hair, but it’s very fine hair. Maybe when I get brave and try another stylist I will show them this video. In the meantime, I’ve had my granddaughter just do a blunt cut like one of the styles you showed on here.
