Wow! Way to spot the British comments. Such a lot of hate for rich people and their toys. It’s all relative, you “ordinary” guys spend a good chunk of your disposable income on bike related stuff and so do we. Don’t be such snobs, it’s unbecoming and makes you sound petty and jealous. I don’t care for that particular bike, but those that do, have at it, it’s your money.

@@Pommo70 I think one of the reasons Harley riders in the UK sometimes get a hard time is they don’t seem to mix with other bikers, when riders pass each other it’s customary to nod, in my experience do this with an oncoming Harley rider and you get ignored, also they don’t tend to appear at bike meets I guess they have their own Harley owners meets?, add to that the “lifestyle” element and I think you’ve got the answer as to why they get some bad press.

@@IanClarke-bi3se I disagree. R12 nine T and Z900RS are arguably better than Speed twin 1200. The new R12 and Indian scout are better than the speedmaster. People buy interceptor instead of Speed twin because it does almost everything but at a cheaper cost. The scramblers are pretty good but that TFT is not really worthy of that bike. There will be more options in the coming years so it's time for Triumph to think about updating the whole line. Keep what works and upgrade the rest of it. That way, it'll remain fresh

I already like the Triumph bobber platform they started with, but now it's become something closer to a sports bike. This is just my opinion, but I'd prefer the carbon parts to be painted rather than bare. I know some people love that look, but it never really resonated with me. Functionally, I'm sure the bike can flick back and forth with ease with that lightweight tank and wheels. Hopefully you guys will get that test ride soon!

Nice but ! For a retro style modern engineered bike, it has a horrible dash screen. When you ride a bike the biggest part of it that you see as a rider is the clocks, or lack of clocks in this case. When i jump on a top range retro i want to see retro clocks, yes ok throw in digital but do it on a nice pair of retro clocks. This would make the bike more appealing rather than having to look at an ipad style dash all day. Not everyone would agree with me i guess, but for me the likes of Triump or even RE should have two big clocks yo look at, Good vedeo as always guys. Cheers

I don't understand the hate. These bikes seem to be targeted for the "well off" not the mega rich. These are Rolex level, not Audemars Piguet. More importantly these bikes are built to be ridden, not sit in a garage. Will I ever buy one even though I am probably in the demo? Most likely not. None the less, they are pushing boundaries with customization, and that trickles down to us. Same as Arch does more towards track-lite bikes, or BC sort of does in the US.

I do understand that before the chopper craze there were bobbers, bikes built (or maybe it's better say un-built because they were all stripped to the bare minimum of its functionality) in the name of light weigth and performance (their engines also and very often had enhanced power). In that regard I do understand what the showcased bobber in this video tries to pay homage to, those bikes of yore (post WWII until the beginning of the 50ies) and that is fine. But for all haltred it got in a lot of the comments here I think it is fair to say the customization "atelier" failed in its purpose and I dare to give an explanation of why that failure occured. Bobbers were conceived on the home garages of ordinary men. Those guys were often impoverished veterans of the WWII who wanted cheap way of transportation but not a heavy standard bike, they wanted something more lively and light, just like the bikes they used to ride as dispach riders during the conflict. We got remember that besides they were poor they were also young (youngsters have what we may call a natural need for speed) and they were "adrenalin adicts" since they came from the front. So their bikes were cheap used vehicles and cheap custom built works but having a high simbolic value because on those same bikes their needs, anxiety and personalities were expressed and mainly their joy of life was regained after being in hell. Their bikes were not luxury toys. Their bikes were practical celebrations of life! Building a luxury bobber is building something that embodies the antithesis of that original spirit and, in certain levels, something disrespectful I guess. That's my take on why almost every body here did not like the bike on the video. But, don't get me wrong Darcy and Ol'Man, the video itself, as usual, is well mada despite the controversial machine depicted. Best regars from Brazil. ☮️ 🛣 🏍

To be honest if your in the money isn’t an issue group, then get yourself the top of the range Harley Davidson or Duacati with all the bells and whistles. If you really want to stand out then get a custom paint job and approved performance parts for the bike. Ducati did a limited edition Lamborghini collaboration a few years back as did Triumph with Breitling, the prices have appreciated not depreciate with all these custom bolt on bikes. Anyone remember Orange County Choppers (OCC), overpriced junk worth peanuts now.

I like what the TH boys do.. the new TH bike looks a nice bike but I don't think the eventual cost will justify over a stock Bobber with a set of uprated fork cartridges, better rear shock and a pipe.. posh bikes for collector folks. 🤔 More widely there is def a move to make “bespoke” bikes with silly price tags, a little like we have seen in the car restomod world. I am not sure that’s a good thing for bike culture overall. I’ve owned all sorts of bikes and various costs. I’ve always asked if I bike is worth the price tag. When folks stop asking that is when it becomes less about biking and more about money. 💰 *So hopefully TH can build scale and bring a good bike in at a good price. Also have they tied up with Triumph for servicing/warranty ? If you are outside London these things matter 💡

Looks interesting. Very light. Not my type of bike, though. Have you put Darcy on the weights, Ol' Man? He looks to have chunked up. Nick

Did they mention a price? although I doubt it matters much based on that car park.

At around Thirty grand, it needs to be special. The exhausts are around £7k on their own.

It looks ok. I'm not a fan of the seat. But there are much better looking Bobber motorcycles out there.

Yeah nice bike. The whole world of biking is an ever broader church which is now a proper lifestyle accessory thing. It's a long, long way from what got me into bikes in the 2 stroke oily days of the 70s. I'm fast losing interest in this brave new world.

Everything about this event shows exactly who this bike is aimed at. Very wealthy people who live a life of excess and over indulgence. Back to the real worldwide and the next Enfield 👍🏻

In India, Enfield is a costly bike. The workers use scooters or the original Honda 100 cc now sold under the HERO brand.
