Researching bikes to purchase, this is a top maybe.

I was in the store to buy a quick but fall in love with the badboy's design. Got the badboy4 lefty a couple of months back and I love it. :)

Since you have one can I ask if there are any compromises compared to other Urban bikes?. I definitely interested in the Bad Boy 1.

Shawn Vega Velez I'm from India and the options were very less here. One thing I can assure you that nothing else comes close to this in terms of stealth black looks.. It's functional as well. Other than commuting to office I go for weekend rides also. Completed 3 century rides so far the maximum being 157kms. 🚴🏼💨

@@AnishKrishnan How has it held up over the past 10 months? Thanks
@AnishKrishnan5 жыл бұрын
Ray Blade Good. But had trouble once when the tyre got flat. Most of the mechanics could not take out tyre from rim.

@@AnishKrishnan Bro, thinking of getting the same one. how is it holding up? I'm gonna use it in Kottayam. My other choices are Cannondale Quick 5 & Merida Speeder 200.

This may sound silly, but what helmet (brand / type) is the rider wearing in the video? I recently purchased a Badboy 1 and like to complete the stealth look with the matching black helmet. Thanks Chris

Can those belt driven bikes endure torque well? Can the belt slip?
@g1nk0 Жыл бұрын
They deal with torque pretty well. I doubt any human can put out enough torque to break them, assuming it has proper tension. They can slip, but at the recommended tension, it's extremely unlikely. If you're worried, you can get a snubber, which fits onto the rear cog and makes sure it lines up as it engages with the rear cog teeth.

Pointless for an urban bike, and adds too much weight for zero benefit. Not to mention it would look horrendous on such a nice minimalist bike.

Can’t really get a good look on the bike with all the cut scenes.

What size is the bike in the movie?

I would guess it's an XL since the sizes compare quite small to other bikes

i bought the 2020 Bad boy 3 size S, Im 6'3". i also own a 2010 bottechia all carbon road bike and that one is a size L (55 or 57cm), nearly same geometry as the S Bad Boy. I bought a 110mm stem to match the bottecchia stem (BB3 stem is 65mm), and have my seat all the way back. i personally prefer a S for responsiveness and for centerness to the bike, also have long legs possible below average torso. i switched between the botteccia and bb3 and dont frankly notice a difference in fitment. the guy at rei who sold me the bb3 was a little shocked when i climbed on it :) but yes the guy in the video is on a L or XL

Looking to replace my 2001 Cannodale Bad Boy. A serious bike capable of being rode into the ground day after day, and occasionally down a flight of stairs, without a worry. This. . . this one seems gimmicky.
