Right next to Beehives Campground is a hiking trail for The New Wave in Arizona! This is one of the best things to do in Page. It's a great alternative to the more famous Wave hike that requires a difficult to get permit. No permit required here!

Hi! You can actually look up "The New Wave" on Google maps. It's right next to the Beehive campground. You can actually park right about where it says "Beehive Trail" on the map.

I did this hike back in May when I was there and I too had the entire place to myself. I didn’t realize the trail looped until I got back to my car smh! I came back the same way I came. Wish I had gone all the way around and explored the back side but I loved it!!

It's a pretty epic hike surprisingly close to town. Sounds like it still isn't terribly well marked though! I think there was still more of it we didn't see either!

Is it ok to drive there with a mini van?

It's been a couple of years since we've been now, but when we were there it was right off the main road and everything was in a great shape. A minivan wouldn't have had any problems.
