I did not learn how to edit. 1300 subscribers like my videos. Actually 10k folks liked the coin pusher one. It is up to you to try. You are ready.

I watched some of your videos, they're very cool. I would try starting the first 10-15 seconds (intro) of each one, with a cool demo of what you're teaching in that video. That way, people understand what they're sticking around for. You can even add text saying "In today's video..." You're moving very fast and at a high level, and that may be fine for the audience you're trying to reach, but you should be aware that a less experienced pianst will probably be a bit intimidated and might click off quickly. I'm sorry I know you didn't ask. It's really great what you're doing.

Here is what I hear you saying with the Interest graph model. Because I am a gardening channel, I should only search and watch gardening-related vids, NOT personal things (as we all do), How to Fix my car, Best Vacation Spots, etc, because these topics will now appear as my "interests" (see 3:17 ) and videos like this will begin to appear on my feed? Am I understanding that correctly? My problem is this.... in the past year my video views have tanked. Now, it takes me 5 -7 days to get 3k views, when I used to explode. I am not a new channel. I have 630K subscribers who feel like my content is worth following and my videos are well done, packaged nicely, etc. But now other gardening channels with lower packaging quality, etc, etc, are exploding in views and I'm not. (I'm happy for them) The bottom line: YT algorithm is not putting my content in front of as many viewers anymore. Why? Because I do have a lot of subs? Because of my YT surfing habits - as you state in the video? I would really like to hear your thoughts on this and really hope that you reply. Would your VID IQ software be effective in this situation? I am not alone in this-I know other gardeners experiencing the same. I'm not whining....I'm confused!!! What is happening on YT ????

Haha. KZbin is very consistent with immediately removing 1 subscriber every single time I upload a video. They claim my content is suspicious because I don't beg people to like, comment and subscribe so there is very little interaction

I don't think KZbin is "removing" subscribers". People unsubscribe from channels all the time, and unfortunate when we upload, notifications are often reminders for people who no longer have interest in our niche for whatever reason that they no longer need our content.

The majority of my subscribers are family and friends who want to see where I'm going. 2 of my sisters and my Mom have been unsubscribed automatically. 1 of my sisters has been unsubscribed more than once and they all had to resubscribe. I've had friends ask me why they no longer see when i upload videos so I have them check to see if the notification bell is clicked and they said they're no longer subscribed and not sure of why. I don't really care because I'm not making youtuber content, I'm keeping my family and friends updated as I don't have a lot of time left but I am angry for other people that don't understand what is happening. KZbin will do whatever they can to prevent paying out too much.

@FTRVDenny well subscribers absolutely do not matter on this platform and do not affect anything about monetization for either the Creator or youtube, so there is literally no motivation for them to take subs away. It's completely a vanity metric. I hate to break it to you, but subscribed or not - if your friends and family aren't getting served your videos, it's because they simply do not watch your content, or if they have in the past they've simply clicked and not watched more than a few seconds. All youtube/the algorithm cares about is WATCH TIME, because that's how they earn ad revenue. Because if they actually WERE watching your content, it would only be costing youtube money to not serve them your videos. I think a better use of your time, rather than focusing on some conspiratorial victim mentality - would be to focus on how you can create content for an audience outside of your friends/family, that is valuable for an audience who will watch it. And while subscribers will be a byproduct of that happening, it should not be anyone's primary goal in 2024 (or frankly for several years now on YT)

Maybe you use the same internet or computer, I even realized that if you use vpn and upload videos, youtube will limit your recommendation to your channel. I think the best way to grow is helping each other.
