3:18 How does the illumination work? Where does the electric power come from? Is there a battery inside?

Yes they use a standard cr2032 battery which we fit prior to dispatch. Kind regards Simon

Greetings from Germany! :) Can I ask you: WHI 6-24 x 50 SFIR FFP Silver or HD-N 4-16 x 44 FFP Silver Which one would you recommend for my new Weihrauch HW97K STL? Thanks for your opinion!

Hi Simon,are these made by the same manufacturers of the Vectors? Very tempted to pick one up for my new bullpup. Thanks.

There are a couple of giga factories in China that produce the majority of the scopes we buy. Woji Optics factory produce lots of products for companies such as SIG Sauer, Vortex, T-Eagle and Riton,and Sun Vector produce products for Wulf, Hawk, VO, MTC West Hunter and others. The westhunter WHT, MTC Copperhead, Elltech and the Veyron are all from the same blood line, like Skoda, seat and VW... companies get to choose,glass quality,.turrets, finish ect to produce there own OEM products.. the WHTs are good bits of kit.. the new SFP 3-12 is in my opinion the best out of all this style of scopes available and ticks all the boxes for airgunners... But it's very much down to personal taste and what works best for your eyes.

Do these scopes have a zero stop. Thanks for your effort

Hi, the WHT's don't have zero stop, but the Westhunter TD models do. Kind regards Simon premium-quality-air-rifle-accessories.ecwid.com/West-Hunter-TD-5-25X50-SFIR-FFP-Rifle-Scope-p484634829

Hello Simon, I have a question. What is the different between the WHI , HD and TD WestHunter scopes?
@sjburgon Жыл бұрын
Hi, the HD are an older model and is the entrance model in the FFP range, The WHT is a ultra compact scope in the same chassis as s the Veyron, and copperhead and others. The TD are the latest and range topping models for Westhunter. The TD & WHT are at atotally different level.to any of the previous Westhunters... The TD3-18FFP in 34mm tube is my favourite..

@@sjburgon Thank you for the explanations. I've looked everywhere for that and haven't found anything.

Hi Simon, thanks for all the detailed offering video's. Watched some of them and bought a 3-12 Veyron in sfp for on a bullpup. Came in yesterday, but I find the FOV rather small on it!? How about it on these WH-T ones, is it broader/better? And on the non illuminated Westhunter WTF or the T-Eagle MR in the same magnifications? Sad that UK sellers don't ship to the Netherlands anymore. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, good to hear from you..We still ship worldwide tax free, and are happy to ship to the Netherlands. You can order directly from our website. The field of view on all the scopes you mention above are all similar, as they all work in a similar way. If you need a wide field of view, the immersive optics scopes offer an amazingly wide field of view and adjustable objective scopes such as the vector Matiz also tend to have a wider than normal field of view. premium-quality-air-rifle-accessories.ecwid.com/Immersive-Optics-c118096753 premium-quality-air-rifle-accessories.ecwid.com/Vector-Optics-Matiz-4-12x40AO-SCOM-29-Riflescope-p447126581

@@sjburgon thanks for the answer. I'm not in the running for an AO scope or the Immersive style of scopes, but I get your point. With shipping from the UK to the Netherlands, isn't it so that now that the the UK isn't part of the EU anymore, that there are importduties and taxes when the package comes through NL Customs....which making a purchase from your shop more expensive than getting it right away from Asia... Regards, Dan

Would this be ok on a crossbow
@sjburgon Жыл бұрын
Hi Dean, you could put this on a crossbow, but it wouldn't really meet NFAS requirements and wouldn't really do a very good job. Over 50yds cross bow trajectory is usually very flat, so you don't really need loads of aim points. In the archery comps I shoot in, most crossbow shooters choose a scope upto around 9 mag with a 30/30 reticle. You can usually estimate range find with binoculars so glass designed to see in low light is more important ... I'm not a competition crossbow shooter myself, so happy to be corrected on that, but I've been paired up a good few times with William tell in the comps and the gear seems pretty standard across all the archers..
