You know what they should have done is not do anything at all its better to do nothing than do something if its going to be absolute sh!t, Microsoft again trying to fix things that aren't broken plus people never touch this part of Windows its mostly OEMs or Gamers on top of that they made it uglier I just find Windows 11 to be ugly, sh!t, garbage, and a very pointless version of Windows I've been using this sh!tty OS for 3 months now and I despise the damn thing damn I miss Windows 7 can we just end this nightmare already!

There was a hundred dozens of ways to make the installer more modern, more fresh looking. Why is that Windows 7 aero theme still a thing? It's 2024, 15 YEARS after Windows 7's release. This installer feels half-baked for an improvement, thankfully you only get to see it once. One great improvement that I can't deny though, is the keyboard layout before accessing recovery options, that's a great feature for someone who doesn't own a QWERTY US keyboard.

Still has the windows 7/vista look except the previous installers had the window that resembled the aero theme with transparency disabled. This just uses the windows basic theme. Also you can move the installer windows around

I’m surprised after all this time the classic cursor is still in windows 11 latest version. Also the cancel button looks out of place because that installing windows screen was used for when you’re upgrading windows. It’s like they just ported that over and didn’t change a thing

I hate this new installer style. I accidently deleted my backup partition and there is no warning in here, just deletes your files and say done, it is not skill issue. I formating my pc every month... old UI is big and you can see the partitions here with no problem

not bad, i wonder what the windows 12 setup will look like when its RTM. i think they might keep the windows vista basic theme, its really vista basic, windows 7 basic is the same as vista basic theme, we could see it change to windows 11 theme, but its not released to the most of the insider programs. edit: the windows 12 release date is sometime this year, but its not confirmed on official release date so don't get your hopes up too quick, it might be released to the insider beta rank and develop programme first before first public beta release. which is the release preview channel release, (right now i'm in beta rank of programme, i might soon go to develop rank, so hope you you know about this)

Ok, some may say it's boring and bland compared to other OS installers. But while I agree it's minimalist, I think minimalism is better in an OS installer. I don't need fancy graphics or sleek animations in an OS installer. I just need a simple, gets it done installer. Plus, the more minimalist it is, the less space it will take up on the install media.

@@just_joey thats impossible for the explorer and the 11 theme. setup was required to have the least amount of components possible to reduce the size, however if added with those features, it can cause the setup to go up to 7gb minimum (estimated)
