I watched the reviews on this bike before buying it and I was worried it was going to be too much. That's not at all the case. While the bike is indeed powerful, you only notice it when accelerating from a stop. The top end is 40 mph. It feels a lot slower than you might think when you're running with cars on the road. I'm happy with the bike but I do believe they should be able to sustain 50 mph to make it a true city running bike. I think the next generation of ebikes should go to 72 volts. They should also aim to keep them at or under 100 pounds. The suspension really can't handle the weight of this bike at 40 mph. It can't handle the weight at even 15 mph off road. It needs to: weigh less, have better suspension, and higher top end. That's my take on the current generation of ebikes. They should also come with turn signals and rear view mirrors standard.

As prices come down for parts due to mass manufacturing, competition, and tech increases it likely will. This eBike was released with only 100 units likely as a test for feedback and to test the market, which is common practice for limited production on new products and particularly eBikes. I guess time will tell.

It would also be nice if the user was able to switch between various terrain modes. Allowing for either more torque but lower top speed or higher top speed and less torque. That could be handled within the controller, the motor may need to be wound special for it as well but it can be done. So when you're riding in a hilly area you can switch to hill mode and when you're riding open flat roads you switch to top speed mode. This would give riders the best of both worlds in one bike.

I really appreciate this video. You aren't just explaining the parts of the bike, but you are actually RIDING the bike as it is intended. I have an Ecell's Dual Star. I absolutely love it. I do have some quirks that have come and gone, or repaired (Display screen/throttle) The war caused by these two factions is ridiculous. Wired uses "Hentai" and Ecell's uses "Hentach" They are the same company! The specs on the windings might be a bit different, however, they are the same motor. Now we come to "peak power" You don't want your bike in peak power for an extended time. It puts enormous stress on the motor hubs and the controller. Peak power is for "it'll get me out of this rut or up this steeper than usual hill. I rode my friends 24.5 Wired Freedom, and it was a blast. It felt pretty much like my Ecell's, Even the displays looked similar. I did however like the layout and "unlock" display of the Wired better. I called Ecell's and asked if I could purchase a newer and updated screen. I was told no, because they are not compatible, About the rumor of a possible "Death Wobble." with both bikes' Keep your hands on the handlebars, properly inflate your wheels, and tune your front and rear suspension. If these steps are taken, this will eliminate the "Death Wobble" All in all, both of these bikes are manufactured in the same industrial warehouse in China. The Wired and Ecell's resemble each other so much it kind of funny, Yes, the price on the Wired is cheaper, they are transparent with their shipping. While Ercell's just articulates the shipping in the price. The only reason I went with Ercell's is because Wired does not offer custom colors. However, the lady on the phone from Wired was very professional and nice, either you're picking up a Ford or a Mercury or a Chevy or GMC. All have little quirks that are easily overcome Whatever you all choose, be safe and watch your 6 !

I have the Wired Freedom and it is awesome. I very often run 35-40. Top speed is 49 in PAS5 downhill. I think wired needs to start concentrating on lightening up their bikes, weight distribution and extended battery life without adding the extra weight of another battery in the rear. You will notice any weight added to the rear. Always keep both hands on the grips.

What’s in the left front suspension fork? I notice the Predator does not have any adjustment on the left fork? I just got one and still learning about the setup procedures. Great video/review.
@bojebikesАй бұрын
I don't believe it's anything to play with and adjust, usually it's some type of preload adjustment. On that bike it only looks like it has the adjustable suspension on the fork.

I owned the Wired Predator, and I want to share my honest experience-don’t fall into this trap. What they never tell you is the truth about the build quality. It’s simply not worth the $3,500 price tag. Trust me, you’ll rarely use the front motor-95% of the time, it’s unnecessary. I’ll be making a detailed video about this soon, so stay tuned. And don’t be swayed by the 43 mph speed claim; you can achieve that with much more affordable options

@18andlikeitАй бұрын
Love it, but not for me. My Ecells 5 Star has all the power I need, 40 mph on level ground, and much lighter with single motor and battery. Got it for half the price of the Predator. I'm super happy with it. That Predator is impressive for sure, but I'm thinking the powers that be are going to start cracking down on these ultra powerful bikes that are becoming more like motorcycles every day. They're already starting to crack down in my area with guys going right along with traffic at 40/45mph, not pedaling with no licence plates.

@bojebikesАй бұрын
I only weigh around 165lbs - 170lbs. I was surprised as well, I was hoping to hit 45mph. Maybe the one we had was tamed down a bit, or maybe there was something in the settings we could have tweaked. I'm pretty sure we tried just about everything to make it go as fast as possible.

tthis is a nice off road bike unless you have a motor cycle license yes that's right lets look at the federal and most state laws for a moment first and foremost they both state NO motor on a e-bike over 750 watts this is similar to the 49cc gas scooter law we all know anything over 49cc we need a motor cycle license well it is the same with e-bikes not over 750 watts this is for everyone's protection with this extra speed there can be more accidents and for your protection and others there is insurance required and a safety coarse too both written and road again for everyone's safety the e-bikes have just gone too far yes you can sell one of these powerful ebikes but it is up to you to know the laws if you go to a showroom ask them is this bike completely legal if so get that in writing from the seller yes the police have beenvery lax in the past and sellers and riders will tekk you that bet the police and lawenforcement are checking more now because of these powerful ebikes they want to stop these bikes now before they put a 396 chevy engine in them hay wait a minute that's a gas engine not electric buy smart ride legal and have a blast riding your legal ebike I am
@bojebikes26 күн бұрын
@@peggylabarre1519 laws vary state to state, and sometimes even town to town. Always check the rules where you ride and try not be be a jackass. In Illinois we can have class 1, 2, and 3 with no license. Your math on this bike is pretty good as far as the 49cc scooters, which are class 4. I think around 8000w you’re a class 5. You have to convert watts to HP to CC to figure out, and so would the law, so just ride on responsibly
