Great videos, I really enjoy the one you posted about xTool. I purchased the P2 through your video. So far, this machine has helped grow my side business. Thank you.

Thank you for your review, it helped me a lot. I am considering buying an XTool laser and then the 2P but now I am having doubts. I now have a Sculpfun S30 Pro that I want to upgrade to a CO2 laser and I always end up with the X Tool P2. And your review of both machines was very helpful. I live in the Netherlands, do you happen to know if I can buy it via a country in Europe because of the import duties?

Glad I was helpful! Yes, I have links in the description to the different euro online stores you can order through.

Awesome video! I’m looking at a lot of Xtool lasers, would you be willing to provide the amp rating for the P2S, F1 Ultra and the new AP2 purifier? Trying to find out if I can run one laser and purifier on one circuit or if the laser and purifier each need their own. Thank you in advance

Cool thank you. That’s a tough one. It’s incredibly variable if you watch my F1 ultra review, I think with the conveyor belt, I hooked up an amperage meter to it and it all depends on what you’re doing and what laser setting you have so it’s a range. They should have it on their product page for each one of the lasers.

So if you were going to be buying for the first time, would you suggest that it would be better to just grab the P2S?
@BitnerBuilt2 ай бұрын
Yea if your buying first time the p2s is worth the increase. The quality of life stuff is good but it comes down to with the increased air flow you have a much faster, higher production machine. If your a 1 person show not cranking out material in big production runs, you could save money buying the p2 as it is still a great machines

Haha, you know you need to join xTools Facebook groups, they are always giving away units to people who are watching their live streams, etc. you never know!

Can this machine CUT through 1/2" hardwood? They state it will cut 18mm plywood. I'd love to see a video of someone cutting through 18mm Plywood if that's really true.
@BitnerBuilt14 күн бұрын
So lasers can cut through solid woods easier than plywoods, the glue between the layers, inhibits the laser. The P2 S can definitely cut through half inch hardwood and ply easily and clean, when your approaching 3/4in (18mm) it gets very material specific some woods yep others no, depends on composition. Might require a second pass to be cleaner than trying to force on one pass. I’m primarily a woodworker and that’s why the p2s is my primary machine in the shop (I have all the xTool lasers) - if all you do is 3/4 in, it’s not perfect for that yet. It can but that’s where I still use my cnc depending on the project.

@@BitnerBuilt Thanks for the quick and detailed reply. I am a furniture maker with CNC experience and use a CNC and Shaper Origin in my shop. I'm considering the laser for some engraving, but mostly to use for parts that require more cutting accuracy with potentially less 'clean up' than the CNC. Cheers.

Oh cool! Yeah, I was all in on my CNC machine until I got lasers and they really have taken over probably 75% of what I used my CNC for, now I’m only using the CNC when it’s not capable of being done with a laser that I have. Much faster cleaner and depending on the project I might not need to paint or resin fill because of the engraving process.

They say they have been listening to customers yet they continue undersizing their fans on every model. The fan on the ultra sucks. I'm sure 2 fans is better but why not just give a 4in fan like everyone has asked for for years...
@BitnerBuilt3 ай бұрын
I’m sure it comes down to overall design, if you make something an inch bigger diagonally, you’re gonna have to make the closure that much bigger in order to accommodate it. I sent a note asking for the same thing as well as I would like for the back panel to just be on a hinge with a latch so that I don’t have to unscrew six screws every single time I want to clean the lens, that being said it is a small thing and it is capable of doing the amount of exhaust force to get all of the smoke out. So it’s more my personal thing to get it to a 4in.
