Turnstile is the best because they're real, they're doing something different from what all the other kids are doing right now, and they're one of the most energetic, dynamic acts of my generation of hardcore kids. And I love seeing Freaky Franz dance. Believe there's this awesome Regulate set on youtube in which he's doing all this crazy shit.

Believe you're old, act like it, talk like it, live it...and you'll be old. I'm in the best shape of my life. The only weird thing is the way kids look at me sometimes at shows as I soar through the air.

it’s so nice coming back to this video so many years later and knowing hardcore has grown into such a notable scene again. my favorite part of the subculture is just the down to earth community sense to it, and franz embodies that so hard. not a rockstar, just a dude being hyped to be apart of it

I was to young to be there in the 80s but from the mid to late 90s and onward hardcore has been the most impactful movement of my life. thank you so much for everything, I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
