The Jets off-season is an A+ obviously all rides on health. The Draft also being a big play: do they go with O-Line? Do they go with Bowers to give Rodgers another young weapon OR they trade down to re-coup some picks?

They need to trade down and get top tier offensive linemen, at least a tackle and a guard, or maybe two tackles. If they don't do that and one of their starting linemen goes down or gets injured, which is guaranteed to happen, then the entire team and season will collapse like last the previous 14 years.

I'm not saying Rodgers can't win from the pocket or anything absurd like that, but there's no question that if you're saying Aaron Rodgers and what he brings to the table, its that ability to make killer deep and intermediary throws on the move rolling outside the pocket, understanding where his playmakers are. If he has lost some of that athleticism, it will hurt his game a lot more then Kirks situation. Also I would tend to believe, schematically, its going to be a better fit for Kirk. Both teams desperately need these QB's to unlock their offensive potential. And yeah, not having to play on that field helps morale alone. Still embarrassing the NFL allows that.

Name whoever you want at Tackle - no one is better that is younger! They have Breece Hall who is probably 2nd best RB in the league. Garrett Wilson was OROTY with back to back 1K yards catching from Zach Wilson. Mike Williams has played 90% of his games in the nfl. The Defense has 5 all pros - ALL PRO not Pro Bowls, from the last two seasons. That’s insane! Will be among top 5 DLs, LBs, and Secondary in the league for all groups. One of the best rosters in the league. Aside from KC who aside from Mahomes, does not have a better roster, and SF who has the best roster in the league - who has a better roster? No one. Hate all you want. Jets have to prove it cuz they ain’t done nothing. But do not kid yourself that this roster is overrated. Will compete for best in the league and all timer.

I’m not saying he’s going to fall off a cliff but better QBs came of better seasons, and had better health and have taken a sharp decline. Aaron Jones is better than Hall Adams is better than any Jets WR Bak and Smith are a wash but Smith will be hurt by the sixth game. That vaunted defense allowed 27+ pts in 1/3 of their games and it would’ve been higher than that had Mahomes not taken pity on them and slid at the one inch line.

My Question has Joe Douglas done enough to come back even if Robert saleh has a bad season? I personally don't like frugal Joe but I gotta give him credit he did a masterful job this off-season and should I give up on his skill set after what he did this off-season. The question is the coaching staff besides the defensive coordinator the rest of the staff is suspect. I say pair him with mike varbel on a two year prove it deal and that's it.

the acquisition of DE Reddick means that we no longer have to have the MVP version of QB Rodgers - just the NFL 24 point average. in fact, with this kind of defensive expectations, QB Taylor should be able to produce enough offense to make the playoffs. 3TDs and a FG are going to win a lot of games. I'll be just fine with using WR Williams as a 3rd down possession receiver to start the season until he can get his legs back under him again. i'll be ok with bringing back the ground and pound to relieve QB Rodgers from excessive strain or exposing him constantly to possible sack injury. however, if the Jets draft a 1st round weapon at WR/TE we might never see another rushing down unless it's a victory formation snap. I worry about the OL depth at T and who will be the 3rd down RB who eats up 4th quarter snaps with a lead like a MLB middle reliever eats innings.

Offensive line is still unproven and one injury away from destroying the whole team and season. They need to trade back from Pick #10, ideally a couple of times back to 20ish and pick up 2 or 3 top tier offensive linemen in 1st round and 2nd round. NYJ are not sincerly all in! All in for the NYJ has to be ALL DRAFT PICKS IN 2025 AND 2026 on the table. If the NYJ use those future picks to secure a second 1st rd pick, a 2nd rd pick and an additional 3rd or 4th rd pick, to secure a LT,, DT, WR, OG, SS, QB, RB. That's pushing all your chips in! The health of the offensive line and the lack of a true run stopping DT is a much bigger issue than he NYJ or their fans want to admit. The Chiefs Roster is not better than the Jets. The chiefs get more out of their players schematically. Last Week Dan said the Jets had a top five roster in the NFL. It's hard for me to believe when Rodgers struggled in the weaker NFC. Rodgers was the best QB in that conference and still flamed out in the first round and didn't even make the playoffs in his last year there. And He's not the best in the AFC .
