Our family is a Disneyland family to the core. We started going when my son was terminally ill at birth. We went every six months so that he would always hold the Disney memories. Well with the advancement of modern medicine not only did he pull through, he is now serving our country! In February we are taking our first family trip to Disney World and we are all watching your videos to guide us. To us, Disney represents life and to my son, he says it’s the best childhood memories he ever had, the whole family celebrating him being alive every six months at a Disney park 💕

That’s wonderful, glad to hear he’s doing well now. We are a Disney World family. My son was born with a heart defect and has had 5 open heart procedures! His last one was about 5 years ago when they put an artificial valve in. He’s 25 now and doing great! He will eventually need to replace it, but hopefully now with a cath and no more opening him up. His poor body has been thru enough! So long story short, I too am thankful for modern medicine! And even though he’s 25, he still loves Disney! 😊

One thing about the water bottle tip; someone in your group must carry the weights all day long. It will be lighter every time the bottle gets empty, but you must be prepared for the extra exercise for saving few bucks. I have personally done that one time, but never again. Please use refillable water bottle. :)

I use a silicone water bottle, it cuts down on the weight, and takes up less space as you drink.

My husband was custodial in DCA and one afternoon while he was acting Lead a hawk decided to have lunch right above the benches outside of Monsters Inc. A woman and her child were sitting on the benches under it and pieces and feathers from the little bird it was feasting on were falling around them. My husband politely ushered them away from the benches and gathered other custodial cast to block off the area so they could get it cleaned up without guests noticing.

Totally agree. I fly down from Buffalo and we got a boarding group for rise but then it was a 5 hour wait and we had older members in our group so we couldn’t stay that long and it was a bummer to miss out. Hopefully I get on it March 2 when I’m there again

@@brianumphreyville2204 Well, you can purchase an ILL and guarantee that you ride it (assuming that it does not break down). Only Guardians of the Galaxy has a virtual queue, but that one you can also purchase an ILL to get on it.

Don't stress. Use Disney transportation. My first adult trip we stayed at a good neighbor hotel and drove everywhere. My second trip as an adult we stayed at an all-star resort and took buses everywhere and it was wonderful. Currently saving for my next trip and hopefully staying at an Epcot area resort.

Finally going!! February of 2023!! I'm so excited! Waiting patiently as well for your reviews of Festival of the Arts [when it starts ( ha ha) ] and all the food booths foods and beverages too ! Anybodies out there ever been to DW in Feb? I'll be there with my Cousins from the 5th till the 11th. What might the weather/temp be like? I'm a New Yorker so I'm good with 50's 60's Might it possibly get warmer than that? Please let me know. Also, how about crowd levels? anything else that could be helpful thank you

February is a Great time to go to Disney world temps are great! Not too hot and not too cold. Durning the day it is warm but night is a little chilly. Crowd levels are down so I wouldn’t worry about lines all that much! You’ll have a great time! My family and I will be out here around that time too. We try to go every year

Your tip regarding adding park hopper day-of does NOT apply to people who booked multi-day tickets when they booked their room! This is such an important tip to realize! We had a VIP tour and only needed park hopper for one day. We purchased 5day tickets with our rooms and were told on the phone from Disney that one day could be upgraded at a ticket window. It CAN NOT. We had to upgrade all 5 days for all 15 people in our group (including 2 park day tickets we had already used) It was an extremely large expense which happened bc of misinformation.

When we were in Disney world last March I got stuck on splash mountain listening to the god awful laughing place song for an hour!!!! Anyways no one ever checked or asked us and we ended up being able to stay in the park after hours with deluxe guests even though we were staying at art of animation… perks of getting stuck on a ride forever I guess 😂🤦🏼‍♀️😓

When you reserve a lighting lane, does everyone have to make their own or can 1 person in your party make the reservation for the group?

From what I know, everyone must pay for Genie+ and they each have to make Lightning Lane reservations.

In the app you can connect everyone together before in a party (up to 6 or 8 people) and then can get restaurant reservations or lightning lanes together in a group. You will need to link everyone’s tickets/bands all on one account, whomever is using the app to make the reservations

Just a heads up.. Fantasmic Dining Packages aren’t open yet for 2023😭 my 60 day mark was yesterday (11/30/22) and I couldn’t make a reservation for the Fantasmic Dining Package. I spoke to 2 cast members and they both said to just keep checking back.

Fantasmic dining packages opened (seemingly at random) for January just before Christmas - a full 30 days past our 60 day dining reservation mark. Just keep checking! We got one and there are still options left for our HS day on January 17th.

I’m taking a solo trip to Disney world and trying to get reservations at a restaurant in Epcot. No times are available for 1 person, but I changed it to 2 people and plenty of times came up. What happens if I make reservations for two, but show up by myself?

Is that true?? Thats awful! I would make the 2 person reservation then on the day of, call the restaurant or stop by to let them know its only going to be 1 person, at least 2 hours before your reservation time as i know there’s a fee for cancellations within 2 hours of reservation time. I would assume if you explained your situation and/or said your 2nd guest couldn’t make it, they should be understanding.

There’s also the possibility they won’t even say anything if you sit down at the restaurant with a reservation for two and say its only going to be you.

We’ve had several times where I booked for a party of four and only wound up being a party of three - and there was no issue at all. You might also be able to modify your party size after making the initial reservation.

I feel like most people enjoy Disney parks because of the theming? I mean, personally, I’m not a huge rollercoaster and attractions fan in general, and the amusement parks we have close by are just that, no theming whatsoever than « basic » attractions, whereas Disney Parks have specific themes? Much like the Wizarding World at Universal, it’s much more interesting for me to go there than any other Six Flags style park because there are references to something I enjoy! But yeah, money wise, it’s getting way out of hand!

@@valeriegoulettalbot9900 YEah Disney theming is definitely top notch. Busch Gardens Tampa isn't themed per se but it is an absolutely beautiful park though. Rides are what it shines at though. There are a lot of animal exhibits too. You can get lunch at a restaurant overlooking the African plains with Zebras and giraffes etc. Their new ride Iron Gwazi is amazing.
