At first it looked good, like the first cave dweller was good it was scary and quite new experience in Minecraft but then everyone started milking it by creating cheap rip offs just with different skins and texture like these ones so it ultimately became bad and boring

The issue is not minecraft not being build for horror, it's people making loads of rip off making the horror genre for minecraft looks like trash. The last horror mod i remember actually being good is Sanity mod. At this point shader make minecraft looks more terrifing than the actual horror mod.

To answer his question, the Cartoon Cat and the Siren Head both have the same origin. They are both originally from pieces of artwork made by Trevor Henderson, a famous Canadian horror artist. He had made many other paintings/drawings of other famous monsters.

Thing about who Cartoon Cat and Siren Head are: They are both malevolent, fictional entities created by Trevor Henderson, who is a horror artist. Basically, they're not officially featured in anything other than the artworks created by Trevor Henderson. Trevor also made a bunch of other things. Here are a few examples: -God of Roadkill (intentions unknown) -Longhorse (Known to be friendly, typically anti-Siren Head) -The Marionette (While spooky in apearance, he's not really evil or anything. He just does a cool dance then leaves) There's an entire wiki on Trevor Henderson's creations. You should check it out, he's pretty cool. Bonus: I'm still upset what they did to these two. They could've at least TRIED to make the mod good (or even remotely similar to the original creation whatsoever)

F3+B is actually pretty useful. I usually keep hitboxes on to know exactly where to avoid hitting or to make contact with certain enemies, especially ones in boats. It also helps to find mobs and items in dark or leafy areas

If you are looking for a different mod that's actually different then I suggest you try and find an SCP mod, or map. I think it would make a good video as the SCPs are not at all similar to the dwellers, and all of the SCPs are different, have different abilities, some are weaker while others are stronger, and most of them can't be killed. I don't really know how mods work so I don't know if there are any that spawn naturally so that's why a map might be better! SCP/The SCP foundation is a horror based site and if you've played lethal company then the monsters from there are similar to the monsters in the SCP foundation, there are just lots. Lots more in the SCP foundation, and SCP came way before lethal company. If you do find something like that then I wouldn't suggest going into it blind, as all the Scps are different and act different some are nice others aren't, some are objects,some are sentient objects. So I would recommend going to the SCP Wiki dot and just read about what the foundation is and what the SCPs consist of! :)!

Sirenhead and Cartoon Car lore: They're both characters made by an artist named Trevor Henderson. They were initally just creepy pictures but after getting popular on internet horror boards fans and Henderson collaborated to expand their lore, origins, characteristics, and universe theyre a part of. They're both villain characters: Sirenhead iirc hates humanity for the destruction people have brought to the environment and exists only to torment people. Cartoon Cat is also a villainous character who is just a god of sadism and enjoys causing pain until his victims cease to live (youtube bot avoidance, hopefully) he likes the juxtaposition of a cartoonish cat, usually sign of warmth and playfulness, that causes suffering.

You mentioned in one of your videos Vivilly that you cannot find iron. I was having the same problem. I created a new world in a mesa biome and did not have any problem finding iron. Maybe try a mesa biome and see if you have better luck finding iron.
