Woke up this morning and its all gone, after watching this video it was 100% phishing and i was only trying to help someone by voting on there skin. £200 of rust skins gone and not sure if ill ever see them again :(

A friend of me got scammed like a half year ago (most probably also with a phishing login) but we still not get, how the scammer where able to accept the trade on the steam mobile app that the trade went through. Is someone able to explain that?

It's practically impossible for VALVE to do anything with this, considering every single time 1 site gets taken down, another one is put up with a slightly different URL. So, the best thing everyone can do, is avoid these.

They will login from their end -> steam requests 2fa -> they tell you to type in 2fa -> they use the code you just typed in as the 2fa from their end

They change the phonenumber from the 2fa to their own phone with the code you provide on the fake website

This happened to a friend of mine be lost 5000 dollars in counterstrike skins.... You can see the scammers changed the 2fa number to one in Taiwan.... And change it back to the original 5 minutes later. All items are moved to a empty account and will stay there for a week or so. Steam doesn't care they wont do anything for you.

they will API scam you so when you think you're sending a trade to someone that bought ur skins you're actually sending it to a fake account made by the scammer
