What a brilliant analysis! For a break it was refreshing to hear a balanced viewpoint based on real facts and a very deep understanding of the thought process of US institutions rather than so many negative conspiracy theories we so often get to hear these days. Hope we get to hear more from Mr. Iyer Mitra.

@@Shubham-hk6yf he said that US was wants prosperity in Afghanistan and Iraq and maybe seria in that matter but from what I've seen Afghanistan was actually more developed when there was communist government, so was seria before US intervention and so was Iraq. Watch the old clips of these nations. US intervened in their politics and tried to influence it as per the US geopolitical intersts which ruined these countries.

@@AviSanX Afghanistan is not Developed during before communists also, Only kabul is developing, remaining rural areas lived in a tribal society. When Communists started there ideological principles rural & tribal Afghans completely opposed it, started civil war.

Love this video, as an American 🇺🇸 citizen, I know how Americans feel, he is 100% correct, I wish all the underdeveloped countries including our base countries understand this, I think once they understand they will be prosperous and can be like developed countries like South Korea, Germany and Japan.

Never heard of this dude before just a bit ago, but I like how he tells stories. I'd probably listen to an entire podcast of him, which is something I could never sit through. Also it's funny he mentioned the "Omen" movies in reference to the US, because in the third Omen movie, the devil actually becomes president of the US.

Let me put it this way, if someone approaches Abhijit with an offer on protein and gym membership, he would be stupid, because though Abhijit needs it, but there is a reason why Abhijit looks this way, because he never prioritized his health. So even though seems like Ranbir already is in in shape, and doesn't need these supplements, but he still is a better prospect, because you see him and say, yeah, he values his fitness. So sometimes when you look at a society, you find out that they are like that, not just because of circumstances, but also because they want to be like that.

There is one thing that stands out on top over and above in everything that America does - and that is Self-Interest. Or I should maybe say "Enlightened Self-Interest" as the Americans put it. Empathy - I don't think so. I don't see Americans making an attempt to truly understand the other side. Everything is driven of their view of what they think. If they want freedom for the world, it's because they want it, and not whether the other side wants it. Because it serves their narrative - individual or as a state.

I appreciate the mostly-balanced views expressed in this episode. The downside is 1) the over-generalization employed here and 2) the fact that most of the references made were to America's conservative, right-leaning demographics which is actually not the majority of America.

@@frazerabbasi2043 Well you can't judge smartness why someone's command in a language. Language is just a medium to convey message. IQ can't be decide by language command. That's a typical elite born characteristics to judge someone for their language. And this mindset is the main reason why left elites are not understanding the change in behavioral patterns of indian society. And their dumbness to understand this have made them irrelevant today.
