Remember folks: Studio name does not equal good game. Rocksteady wasn't what made the Arkham games good. It was Sefton's direction, and Dini's writing. It's one of the main reasons why Arkham Knight's storytelling seems off, Dini wasn't present as a writer, so whatever he was setting up in City wasn't given to the Knight writers, or they read through it and decided to do their own thing. Either way, Ro steady is not the same team that it was in the 2009-15 era. Temper your expectations.

Before the game was revealed in 2020 DC Fandome. Sefton Hill was working on a game code named Rolling stones and multi-player game. WB came to them asking for a suicide squad and Sefton agreed hell he said they'll put it in the arkham universe. New employees were expecting a single-player game even the old devs left because live service wasn't their thing. Killing the league was all him even though the devs knew it would piss people off so they begged him to put signs of the league being alive but he said he wanted them being alive to be a surprise he wanted this to be his infinity war. He kept having ideas he wanted added despite it clashing with what was built (gizmos vehicles would've been drivable instead of being temporary), taking his time review the project, an environment of toxic positively and perfectionism. He knew he messed up and he dipped before that awful state of play reveal. There are articles on this. It was referred to in this video.

I had an idea for a Wonder Woman game. Just make it like God of War. 2018 and Ragnorok of course. Wonder Woman is mythology based yeah, but I think just the game play would work for it. You can give her a sword or just fists. And you can have the lasso to work like the Blades of Chaos a little. Even the shield mechanics could be similar! Maybe people would think it’s lazy or just ripping off God of War, but those games are fun. Imagine using a Wonder Woman style finisher, that sounds awesome!

A good Superman (emphasis on good) would be relatively easy to make if you were a competent story developer. Main Story: Lex Luthor is attempting to become president and has framed Clark Kent for murder. Superman/Kent must clear his name while also fighting his usual bad guys. Boss 1: Toyman Superman fights toys and struggles to get through the weapons that Toyman has used to help set up the crime. Boss 2: Parasite Superman chases after the Parasite, who has been used to impersonate Kent, Boss 3: Metallo Superman is distracted by a fight with Metallo, who Luthor has sent to slow him down. Superman gets answers from Corben. Boss 4: Mister Myxzpilik Superman is thrown out of his reality as Luthor has asked Myxy to do this to mess with him. Superman eventually escapes out of the reality. Boss 5: Mongol: Superman is captured and trapped in a Krypton reality where he must battle Kryptonian forces. Eventually, he discovers Mongul trolled him, and he has a fight with him. Boss 6: Bizzaro Superman starts to see left as right, up and down, and realizes Bizarro is here. Superman must fight Bizzaro. Boss 7: Luthor/Doomsday: Superman finally finds Luthor after getting all the information he needs. Like the Arkham Knight game, it would lead to a surprise boss fight with Doomsday instead of Luthor. After barely escaping Doomsday and beating him, Superman is shot by a Kryptonite bullet and has a hand-to-hand fight with Luthor (since the K weakened him) Villains purposely left out of this game to set up possible sequels: Brainiac, Darkseid, and the Anti-Monitor but you can definitely reference them,

If they do make a Batman game again, it should be Batman Beyond. Otherwise, it would make way more sense to make a Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern or Flash game that gives each character a definitive universe of villains and supporting characters like the Arkham games did for Batman.

They tried other heroes and they all always failed. Batman sells more than any other hero, thats just the reality. He has the most flexibility for story, gameplay, and characters. They have been planning a Wonder Woman game for the last several years and we havent gotten even a sample of gameplay yet. WB realizes Batman is the best they have in terms of video games. Its not as easy as you all may think it is to create a game for heroes like Flash, Superman, and Green Lantern.

Games I want to see based off the Arkham verse or by rocksteady in general: Nightwing- a game based in Bludhaven with Nightwing villains.. Deathstroke, Blockbuster, Heartless, Chiva, Tarantula, Raptor etc..Could incorporate Batgirl/Oracle, Tim, Jason in smaller roles. Batman Beyond Static- This would allow them to capitalize on pushing some milestone characters out to the general audience but would only work if games before it are good. Icon, Rocket, Hardware, Blood Syndicate, Ebon etc.. Green Arrow

Because of Gunns focus games will probably tie into that verse possibly limiting what they can or are willing to do. We need elseworlds games to as i doubt the WW game is gonna tie into the DCU unless it's been reworked since the slow progress it's had. Batman Beyond is a possible game if they want to continue with Batman or A solo Nightwing game in Bludhaven or even Gotham but through Red Hood and his war against Black mask could be a cool game and you could do a DLC based on the Vampires or his Outlaws team. Another crack at Superman needs to happen it could be so, so cool he'll have high durability but the challenge comes in causing little collateral damage as possible you want to respond to problems quickly and efficiently. So environmental destruction in metropolis is key. Hive me cameos of MM, Lobo, The Elite (possible antagonists later in the story) let me fight bosses like Maxima, Rampage, Lobo, Silver Banshee intergang it could be solid. I don't even mind missions as Clark doing tasks for the bugle, side quests at the Kent Farm and such. They could even do DLCs how Arkham had with the other members, so the other supermen/ a reign of the supermen dlc would go crazy, superboy prime, Cyborg Superman etc there's lot's of Potential if Batman was left alone/ put on hiatus to try other characters.

In the Inque boss fight, she's just immune to physical damage so you have to lure her into the range of the sprinkler system and then set off a batbomb. For Shriek, he can hear and track you through your microphone. For Blight, The closer he approaches you, the more your radioactivity levels increase.

If they do Batman Beyond, they have the opportunity to bring back Will Friedle for Terry McGinnis the same way they made the wise decision to use Kevin Conroy as Batman's voice actor. I think allowing Will to continue his legacy would be great.
