I used to play in Europe servers with 70 to 100 ping. Now I can't play because the game keeps in putting me in a new server in my region and wait for other players to join. It is literally unplayable.

For me nothing comes close to BF1 operations. The chaos of dozens of people fighting in the trenches. Snipers trying to take out infantry from the perimeter. It offered a wide range of play styles that bf5 and 2042 didn’t offer. It also was the most cinematic mp experiences I’ve ever had. I would love another game that is immersive and exhilarating like bf1 was

@@KannaWorks there's a bug that happens sometimes (to me as well) where the game would freeze/black screen using the in-game browser, safest way it seems is to join through BattleLog so that's where i launch it too

With regards to the Server Browser. For us in smaller countries like South Africa where the player base is quite small, there needs to be a Browser. No one ever plays any of the official quick play modes, no matter how good it is, because they have no idea how many people are waiting to play. Everyone heads over to Portal where the Browser is and we can see the one server with all the players on. So for the next Battlefield it’s a MUST on day one!

Server browsers create the best bf play experience. My favorite servers were ones filled with hardcore veteran bf players. You had to wait for a spot to open up. I would recognize the best players and try to join the top squads. Met some of my best teammates in these games. The matches were epic

Battlefield Bad company 2 was my introduction to the series. I loved everything about it. Battlefield 3 blew my mind even more with pure epicnes. I want the feeling back of knowing that the next title is gonna be bigger and better in every way. Being able to count on the developers and publishers making a great product.

An OFFICIAL server browser shouldn't even be a topic of discussion. This isn't a BR game where the lobby needs to disband after every match. We need to go from match to match without friction. Bf2042 is a loading screen simulator if you're not playing custom games in PORTAL, that CAN be found in a server browser AND load the next map at the end of the round.

Server browser single handedly has given me some of my best gaming moments I've ever had. Getting to pick the map, play custom game modes, and play with a niche community is awesome. Battlefield 4 had some sick custom matches. One of my favorites was hardcore pistols only operation locker 24/7, absolutely legendary and only possible because of server browser + pivate servers. Really a must have.

Server browser Map rotation Both absolutely needed. BF2042 matchmaking makes me lose interest in playing so much faster, because every match you’d get thrown back to the menu to find a new game. And a lot of the time you’d end up playing a map you just played, or a map you don’t like. And you have no options sometimes but to play them. Because the matchmaker will not find you a different game. It’s so much nicer to stay in a server after a match and have it load the next map in rotation. Keeps the player more engaged and interested in keep playing tbh

None of the campaigns have been particularly good since BF3 in my opinion, I’d rather they focus on what makes battlefield great ie, the multiplayer. If they were to make a campaign it either has to be at the quality level of ‘clean house’ from MW2019 or it needs significant replay ability.

Maybe not the most realistic thing to hope for, but id love for the movement in the next BF to be a bit slower, no extreme sliding or tactical sprint - really think it makes you think more about your positioning and the fights you take when you can't just escape immediately, and would improve the feel of close infantry gunfights imo

Games survive on communities developing. If you can't find the server you liked to play on, you'll never have communities within BF, only on discord/etc, meaning BF is a distraction for the group, not a focal point for the group.

Server browser is a must. Have multiple game modes at launch, 20 - 30ish guns at lunch all with a good progression path. No operators, 64v64 max, no overpowered vehicles, good mix of open spaces and tight spaces and you will have a winning Battlefield game. Keep the store low key with realistic packs and realistic prices.

I'd love to see a return of the server browser over what they had in 2042. Assuming you can't pad the player count like you could in BF3/4 you could pretty much find a full game to play. They also need to keep VOIP, buddy revive, and bring back grabbing ammo/heals from players carrying the crates!

Server Browser is a deal breaker on both PC/Console. I remember when they were going to create combined access to BF3, 4 and Hardline back when BF1 was released. I really wish we could play the old maps in the current engine. BF3 had some really good maps and tons of content.

Give us more set pieces like with the blimps exploding and crashing down, clusters of debris that changes the flow of the map etc, keep it chaotic but allow for multiple playstyles and different ways to play maps other than just rushing a corridor/open field and hoping your team wins

I think server browser is important in every battlefield game, for example I jumped back on BF1 again recently and the only way to find consistent matches is through server browser. Quick match and custom game modes would take forever to load up, if I can even queue up with anybody (most of the time it’s an empty map) For an 8 year old game having the luxury of joining a match within a couple of minutes in server browser is amazing.

I got this crazy idea considering the lore and world of the next game. I know many people only care about the gameplay but to me this is extremely important for the overall immersion and atmosphere. In my opinion it would be really fresh to see an actual well established world war/major conflict type of scenario with nations and alliances fighting each other. The campaign could show us both sides of the conflict in a more war story like storytelling (like WW1 and WW2 stories are told) instead of just the "heroes" fighting the main villains. Let us see the world before the war, see the events and escalations leading up to the global conflict and see how the war evolves from there, eventually continuing the lore chronologically in multiplayer. Let us see frontline changes in the trailers and in in-game media (including briefings and narration similar to BF1). Let us see how fictional politicians and world leaders, civilians, soldiers and nations/alliances in general react to the unfolding events around the globe. This type of storytelling is something we rarely see in videogames. Its usually just you and your squad fighting to take down some random villains instead of focusing on the war and the people that are pulled into the flames. Keep the lore grounded to reality and don't have unnecessary romanticization of war itself. There should be more games that respect the unforgiving and sad nature of war. People die and suffer fates worse than death in wartime and that shouldn't be overlooked. This type of game wouldn't just be a videogame, it would be a message to the whole world: "Even though this is fiction, something like this could happen one day. Let's make sure it won't."

the formula for success is painfully easy. If they screw this up and imitate anything close to 2042 or 5, then this game will be dead in the water. So as I won’t preorder, the next BF needs to have everything in on launch or I will skip and the Franchise would die forever for me. I’m done with all the bad releases and the broken promises. If they don’t hit the Home run I’m out. Of course there will always be BF players that buy the new game, but I think if they mess up again there won’t be a big community left. It started with the BF4 release and it got gradually worse every time. Here and there they saved the game like BF4 and in some ways BFV (unfortunately cut support when it got going). But ultimately they give us incredibly bad games at release and I’m done. Played 2042 quite a bit as every BF, but for 6 months or so I haven’t touched it. It’s all a bit frustrating, but In the it’s just a game. If it dies, it dies. Good memories, but it can’t last forever.

Server browser is a must. On the same vain, i hope they expand on the portal capabilities on the next battlefield (like changing gun balances and stuff like that). It would be a shame to lose such a cool feature no other game has. Also this is the best hardcore mode ive ever played om a battlefield ngl. Granted they could still improve upon it, but i feel this is kuch better than your average "1 million damage" harcore server.

Must have a server browser. Switch twams, squads, etc. Quality maps from the start and a commitment Day 1 of how many will come in the future. No pre-order.

I’ve been playing bf1 and bf5 on ps5 more because of your videos and the server browser is 100% clutch and needed as they are older titles with less players, I can easily sort to the lobbies I want

Server browsing is a must in the game, it is also that if you just do random you come in empty games and need to wait way to long before you can play so if you have browsing you can just join a full game

Server Browser is a must in a BF game, I want to chose the map and game mode I want to play. don't force the player on what map to play, it's really annoying.

Server browser is amazing when the normal lifespan of the game ends and you still want to play. It's the only way I can still find matches in Battlefield One. Very needed!

A server browser and persistent servers will be way more costly then spinning up virtual servers based on demand for matches. It is also why they have an infernal delay between matches.

A server browser is absolutely required, and the ability to host community servers independent of EA is also absolutely necessary. It needs to be such a system that if EA ever pulls the plug on support, we will be able to continue to play multiplayer with no changes.

Hey Jack love your vids. Server browser is a must. Also you shouldnt be able to snipe with a shotgun, there is a reason for bolt action or recoil. Those are my musts for buying the next one.

Server browser is a must. private servers is very high on the list. I like playing on a specific server that has the maps I like. Bring back battlelog!

I prefer the server browser, but it's not a deal breaker for me. It's good for choosing maps, and how many people are in queue (still a lot in BF1 on PC) and I also sort by Ping. Plus if you know a certain server tends to be more toxic, or have more cheaters, you can avoid it. That said, I manage to play and occasionally enjoy, 2042 with no browser.
