Not only the state but the amount of content they have put out. Only 2 weapons and one new map per the 12-14 week season was not enough. I personally did not like the specialist system either and wished they stayed with the regular class system, but I did not mind playing as the specialist either. It just the lack of content, atmosphere, destruction, and so on made it feel like it did not have a lot of life and was not very dynamic. Pair that with the fact they stopped adding things to Portal and did not support Hazard Zone so soon a couple months in after the game launched made it absolutely stale.

Game was also good for so long due to uniform mods replacing the hodgepodge lazy cut copy and pasted DICE assets with historically accurate ones from early to mid to even late war uniforms. And the last update DICE and EA pushed on BF1 killed mod support for it as DICE and their fee fees cant handle that fans and modders do a better job plus they want people to buy into the hype for their next buggy lootbox laden shovel ware title with a BF logo slapped on the side. BF as a franchise died after BF2 when DICE was bought up by EA and they then demonized the very same mod communities and modders that made BF so popular in the 1st place. Its been a downhill spiral of mediocrity for the franchise ever since ...

OG comment; bf4 levolution was/is better but bf4 was a hell of game the first 2-3 years and 100% less epic than bf3, in my opinion this saga goes : bf3>bf1>bf4>any not top 3 game in the saga, at this point I am so proud about never preordering (even when i knew Red dead redemption 2, Horizon forbidden west and warhammer space marine 2 on pc was about to be masterpieces) at this point bf3 remastered (I mean bf3+bf4 maps, 60 fps servers playable at 4k raytraced, same exact gameplay,vehicles and skins system as bf3 maybe adding the bikes and LAVS from bf4) would be a instantly sucess but u know veteran...EA sports...it´s in the game... they got the gun play, ambient and the perfect amount of 64 players from 2011, they got the maps,destruction and vehicles from 2013-2014 and they got the graphics + the formula to make epic barely every single game since 2016... why don´t we have this game? mix of the best of them best 3 games? ahhh is a secret from EA offices. why they let bf1 an star wars battlefront 2 die via cheaters for years? we also don´t know, fortunatly bf1 still alive af and rn is the best playable battlefield /game made by Dice since they banned the cheaters at last :D

I havent worn just a t-shirt in weeks. We Definitely have all 4 seasons in the US. Sometimes all in the same day! Blackhawks are awesome in real life. I live near the Raven Rock Complex and Camp David. I see Black Hawks sometimes weekly. and C130s, as well as the occasional V-22 Osprey. It never gets old.
