21:36 gentrification is what happens to a neighborhood when people with money (what used to be called ‘the gentry’) start moving there and buying up all of the property. An influx of money gets invested to improve the area to cater to the new affluent residents and as new businesses begin to open and the homes and buildings get remodeled, the property value and rental prices increase to the point where the people who already lived and owned businesses there can no longer afford the higher prices.

Yeah, in layman's terms - they are forcing out the people who have been there for decades, to acquire their property and sell it for a much larger profit.

I agree with him on haircuts. We used to have professionals who could do 200 haircuts in a day for $10 and he made a great living. Now it's a show they put on and try to sell you products you don't need. Then take 2 hours to finish a 5 minute haircut.

The first joke is interesting because he has something in common with Norm Macdonald. They both got fired from SNL and then hosted shortly after. Also the joke was similar to what Norm did in his monologue when he hosted SNL.

I think this is more accurately 'crowd work' more than true 'improv'

The show is called "Stand Up On The Spot" and yeah, it's 100% improvised after suggestions from the audience.

planes you can glide to a highway at least. Choppers you're just toast when the engine cuts out.

at the time a young couple were a cross country trip in a van and were live streaming the whole thing.. the guy came back without the girl and said she took off.. after a few days of being uncooperative with her parents and police he went out to the swamp and killer himself .. they don’t know what happened exactly but he killed the girl while camping in a state park

Somebody already said this, but about 4 years ago there was a couple doing van life videos. The male partner chocked her to death.

A decent used tour bus costs between $10,000 and $250,000 on the low end. Very easy to spend over $750k on a new one.

It sounds like poor Waldemar is suffering from PTSD as a result of some bad experiences at the barber shop. 😂 Honestly, I think Waldemar's rant was more entertaining than what Shane was doing. It is very relatable. I used to have similar issues while getting my hair trimmed.

You don't have any hair. You don't need a barber, just a razor to clean it up. Why would you pay someone to shave your head? You can buy an electric shaver for like $25 that will last for years.

@davemick7216 unfortunately that pic is the current state of affairs on my scalp😄And you do make a good point. However, I am guessing you may have skimmed over my comment and missed an important word combination right near the beginning of the last sentence...(used to)😂 No worries though. I've done the same thing many times.

@ I was just ribbing you. I have thick hair, but I shave my head anyway, I like not having to worry about it. I didn't mean to be insulting. Cheers!

Yep, as someone who shaves their own head, all you need is a shaver and a mirror. No skill goes into it at all.

@@davemick7216 Oh, yeah... That's the way I read your comment too. I was hoping to not come off as rude or condescending in my reply. It's hard to convey a specific tone of voice through words alone. Thanks for explaining though.

🤣🤣🤣 I guess the euro-barber shops are similar to ours. Yep. I don’t like them either. There’s a lady in my neighborhood who cuts my hair in her garage and does a fine job without the pretentiousness.

In the US I believe all barbers have to be licensed and meet certain standards in order to work. Most don’t charge anything near forty dollars and they know if they did they simply wouldn’t be in business very long. Also I would never board a helicopter unless I was in a bad car crash or other medical emergency and they had to get me to a hospital as fast as possible.⚛️❤

Presumably that family in France was planning to live in the bus during their trip - and they are doing that now, just in one place instead - so how bad are people supposed to feel for them?

Improv standup and improv are different. Improv is like acting similar to mimes, pretending a situation is happening, this is improv comedy so they’re trying to find jokes based on suggestions not acting out anything

gentrification is when they start building nicer thing and bring in more rich people and then all the people that live there have their rent prices go up and prices in stores raise so the poor people cant afford to live there and have to leave
