I am glad boothill is designed logically. The fact that a break and kill occurring in one attack provides two stacks of pocket trick shot incentivizing clearing trash mobs first over elites is also generally the correct way to manage a battle with ADDs, so despite being Hunt he does still incentivize/teach correct play.

Pocket Trickshot is somewhat of a superbreak, but if something gives a boost to superbreak dmg it won't apply to PT since it's still considered normal break dmg

Thanks for the nice and concise video. It cleared up a lot of questions I had for his kit and was useful for helping me decide my pulls. However, I'm not familiar with your channel, nor was the niche you cover mentioned. So it felt a little awkward when you compared yourself to the viewer and said an E0S1 was "enough". It might be worthwhile to proclaim your channel's type, focus or intent early (e.g. is this a channel for full blown theorycrafting at all levels or a budget channel?), Regardless, thanks for the early access video demonstration of Boothill's kit.

I really do not understand how harmony mc doesn't help break team in any way? my Xueyi never saw the light until HMC came to the picture. Besides it's extra dmg its always good

Xueyi is not the only DPS that can be built as breaker, and she is an exception bcz she ignores elemental weakness. Full discussion in my Super Break video

I’m thinking a good team for him would be Gallagher HMC and hanya especially since he seems really skill point hungry and hanya can help with depleting enemy shield

He's actually not skill point hungry. It's why he can comfortably run slow Bronya as his BiS teammate.

@@yuukiterumi2061I'd probably recommend Pela instead (or Silver Wolf), if you can spare her, since def reduction actually boosts break damage. Hanya's atk and damage boosts don't really do much for Boothill. If you really just need speed then Asta gives more, and also breaks better if the enemy is weak to fire.

I LOVE Boothill and he's definitely a rerun priority but he's just in an unfortunate position. He's sandwiched in between my two favorite Penacony girls (it should have been me) which just makes it hard for me to justify using my limited pulls on him. Firefly will have to be my break DPS of choice. Uh, I mean if she ends up being a break DPS at all. I certainly have no idea! I, uh, had a dream though.

He’s an easy skip for me. While I like breaking due to enjoying using Himiko, I just don’t care much for his design. His JP VA is amazing because he’s Laxus I believe, but I can’t get myself hyped for him enough to justify pulling 😢 And while gameplay wise he’s great, I’ve dreamed Firefly can do something similar AND synergize with Himiko. Therefore, after robin, he is a skip until Firefly and Jade. Besides, I prefer Firefly because she’s also a stellaron hunter, whom I want to collect all.
