@iamfatherless You don't as far as I'm aware. From my experience, it's random. I believe the default conversation lines are a bunch of random noises that aren't voices, so if you hear that from a lambda that's stopped and looking at you, it's probably trying to converse.

The best thing about this mod however is that lambda voices sometimes take audio of npc's or nextbots that are in the files and uses them for lambda voices communication.

Lambda Players is an upgrade to Zeta Players which came from a StarFall chip, ever since the community around it has grown substantially. The creator: StarFrost, has worked every hour and almost a year into this, I'm amazed and glad to see how far he's gotten

There definitely should be a voice module. It gives a lambda player a specific voice without soundboards. Also this module should make them react to different things like if you kill them they would scream "F*CK YOU!!" or "Whyyyyyy?! ("

They do, Voice profiles, kill them and they may say a gamer word in chat or voice. Voice profiles gives you a thing where u can give certain voices to a lambda player. You can also add custom ones too

I would love to see someone make a mod that allows a team based system for sandbox mode. You can chose your team and spawn in ai teammates that can run around on their own or follow you and then have an ai enemy team. Basically a customizable team deathmatch mode in sandbox. It would also be cool if they could ride in vehicles with the player.

I tried those, and they are good if you want the feeling of multiplayer. Which I don't, because I use the NPCs and maps to create films, not gameplay. And I like that the NPCs will go off on a map and do what they want, and it becomes a roleplay. But the Lambda just act like multiplayers that are trying to do something entertaining for their 3 twitch viewers.

I actually have a very annoying dilemma with Zeta and Lambda bots. Since StarFrost abandoned the Lambda Players mod and gmod modding as a whole due to burnout (i dont blame him mind you), the mod was completely messed up over time from Gmod updates, so several key features were broken and now spams lua errors into the console. I am aware of the Remasters that the community made for the mod, and its pretty decent too, but.... Its either the fault of the updates, or maybe even the mandela effect, because i could have sworn Lambda players were able to do everything Zetas can and more. But in reality, Lambdas appear alot more dumbed down in behaviour than Zeta players. Biggest example is the duping system. Zetas are capable of not only spawning them, but even manually building them by individually spawning each prop and freezing it in place, then welding it all together. For some reason Lambdas no longer can do that. Their base behaviour is also more simplified, they tend to default to just DM with eachother, instead of doing other actions like Zetas, spawning random garbage, talking to eachother, watching media player and etc. This is extremely annoying, because i actually really really love the Lambda's customization, which is alot more in depth than Zetas. You can practically make your own player from scratch, with their own texting patterns, voice packs, and even profile picture. Because of this, i litteraly struggle to decided what i rather play with, Lambdas or Zetas, one doesn't replace the other for me, Zetas have much more gameplay variables, and Zetas feel more life like with gamehook overrides and much more intricate customization. Is this just my personal experience? Does anyone else experiencing the same issue? Edit: I am aware of the Module system, i have the same results either way even after installing every single module, and tweaking it in the mod panels and menus. Its annoying as hell since i was expecting myself that was the fix to my issues but, nope.

Been using Lambda players ever since it came out. Safe to say, It's kept me glued to Garry's Mod because it's so fun! Having like 10 or 20 of them on gm_construct just causing nothing but chaos is like the best thing ever omg! Like you'll never know what you'll get with them and that's what makes it fun! I also like using Zeta players and starting a bit of a war with Lambda against Zeta, since they usually attack each other on-sight.

Try the admin module. Sometimes the bots that get in trouble will argue back at the admin bots. Also they can also treat you like a normal player punishing you. They dont ban you from your own game, of course, but they will still warn, bring, and jail you
