I just want something like Wildlands 2. No I do want it to be all Online all the time, no I dont want a shit ton of stupid loot boxes. No I dont want to play as (except certain missions) a lone survivor with drones to "encourage online coop play" I just was to play as a team leader of a US Army Special Forces Team, doing missions with my bros oh are also characters. The only reason why we had to pick up weapons in Wildlands is only because of the Sub-plot that was mentioned at the start of the story. Nomad and the other enter Bolivia through various points individually, furthermore to reduce the involvement or evidence of the Ghost Team in Bolivia, all weapons and ammunition had to be procured in country.

Very sad to hear this news about FPS. Ghost Recon is such a good and cool game as a 3rd person type game. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Ubisoft make this same mistake a year or so ago when they were planning a FPS "new" game (can't remember the title). They scrapped it due to the enormous amount of negative feedback. Why go FPS now?.....very, very sad.

I can make a really good argument that a fps would be a better option, not an opinion they just gotta do it right. Plus have you ever heard of a 3rd person melee attack animations quite doable if you want to see your customization or maybe the choice of switching between your squad mates that you also customize is also an option. Not to mention the Ghost Recon formula is highly different compared to other FPS games

They need to keep Recon the way it is and work on the cloae quarters.. And just make the inside of buildings and structures more detailed. Make it so we have to clear out the base like usual and THEN also clear out the building adding twice the suspense. They just need to add some door interaction and enemy AI on the other side of them shooting from windows and through doors etc They shouldn't all run out when we're forced to go loud. Some should remain inside and move around tactically . Maybe even move the targets and objectives around. Ghost Recon : Danger Close

Lol it's probably going to be quite possible to switch between your NPC teammates or have 3rd person melee animations, who da fuq gotta stare at the face of your character when facial customization? The camo you wear btw lol just gotta look at the arms for that, and have been here during COVID? You know what it like to wear a mask don't you kinda see the outline of the said mask hmmm? Oh let's not forget about the night vision goggles flipping them down or a good example putting on a gas mask similar to that of sandstorm insurgency. If you are really worried about the preset faces that you get and wanna see that I question your priorities, sorry but the Ghost Recon formula will go down right with a FPS perspective

They just need to keep everything as is and just add doors and door interaction with enemies in the building that don't just run out when loud. They need to stay inside , shoot from window and through doors and move objectives around etc. We need to be able to chopper in , repel from the choppers , crash through windows and doors etc. Still have the option to go loud or stay silent etc. Recon has been unmatched and they shouldnt fix what isnt broken. Just add more to what worked abd make it better. Its been over 5 years and Recon is still the best shooter out.

Rare take, everytime I hear this game I don't think of CoD, RoN or Battlefield. I hear this game and I think of R6 Patriots, the title isn't fully dead yet... a lot of its features exist in other Clancy titles released such as The Division with the HUD and cover mechanic, R6 Siege next season will have fast descending in a flipped position similar to the trailer, Recon will be FPS and you're making hard ethical decisions based on the circumstances. Now I think a modern FPS recon game could work if you have certain actions like taking cover be at TPS, similar to Vegas and Patriots, it can also work if the character keeps looking at the direction of crosshair like Wildlands, making FPS-TPS possible as a toggleable, you just have to make animations for both modes.

Mixed things coming on next GR Project Over because all those games mentioned for inspirations all are different genres like Ready or Not & Zero Hours are based on Tactical CQB SWAT Simulations & Squad..Ground Branch are mostly Tactical Milsim..COD Modern Warfare series are just Military FPS games..so when all 3 genres mixed together comes in next GR Project Over..then that will exciting..expect if it's mixed with both Third Person & FPS switching features not just only a FPS ADS switch 😊 looking forward

In my opinion what I think they should do forr ghost recon Needs something breathable like wildlands n gritty like breakpoint. A.I. enemy’s more responsive more accurate. Easy to take down. No more bullet sponge enemy’s and no more heavy armored enemy’s. I just been playing coop on the ghost recon Advance ware fighter2 and the enemies in there lay down crouch go behind cover give them that same mechanic. Make them difficult to fight against but also easy to kill. If that makes sense. Yes we are ghost but other militaries out there have good viable soldiers. pMCs in breakpoint should be almost that tier 1-3 operator skill level able to sustain in a good Long fire fight but these guys are just mindless A.I. that run at you n get shot. Only way to get the realism is to put the thing on extreme lol which I don’t care. Take some notes from other realistic shooters like OF dragon rising you can go up to a dead enemy or friendly n extract ammo and other things you may need in the field. Also give us more than 3 operators. Give us a control number if atleast 9 plus your self so 10 total. And let us build a character stats for each one and once they die there dead for good in the game making your choices more viable in combat zone. Kind of like Xcode or the old style ghost recons. Bring that back. Customizing for A.I. team. Give us more voices to choose from. More haircuts more faces maybe add body style from like tone to like a body builder. Gear customization. Let us customize where we want pouches add more chest rigs like micro rigs ex: Haley strategic DC3R/ DC3R heavy n DC3RM and let us use The thorax plate carrier. With Cry JPC n AVS having integrate mag pouches already not using external pouches. Also add Iike ferro concept FCPC and/ slickster. Battle belts let us customize that by choosing a setup up we want or just look up multiple configuration on google or Pinterest. Ley us be able to removed the battle belt completely. Let us Molle backpack to the place carriers. Also most modern plate carriers allow the use to attach front placards. JPC n AVS and other like ferro have backpacks that zipper on let us attach those. Rifle customization if your doing an M4 just have the base m4 and let us choose the stock n rail we want. There’s no need to have 50 variants. Give us the basic quad rail, few Mlock variants, key mod varieties, Mk18 rail, 416, m16 rail, and the LVOA rail in carbine and shirt barrel. AKs so the same with the AR. Just give us the base ak47 and from there let us attach what we want wether we want it be ak74 or ak12. All attachments n sights for every gun. Let us fill the rail space up n place where we want the peq. Let us add lights to the other side of the rail. Now here’s where stuff gets at get Interesting. Say we are rocking a kit that has 6 mags plus one in the gun that’s how much ammo we have to use we have to pick n choose to fights wisely. Each plate carrier n rig will have different amounts but also the battle belt will have mag pouches in there as well. Same goes for the pistol. Have a setting for people who don’t want to play that in-depth and they have what ever cap. If you do do the cap let it end evenly. Also if we want to use an ak let the damn ak mags be seen in the pouches. Or what would be an awesome thing is we pick the carrier or chest rig we want and click customize in the customization tab we can choose pouches with stanag m4 mags pmag m4 mags, Ak47 mags ak74/12 mags, ect. Give us more in-depth customization. Do it for all the guns. There’s alot yins can do. Go look at ground breach and escape from tarkov for weapon customization and gear custom ideas . Also in the next title you guys have a rebel style force that fighting back against the common enemy. Let us attack n claim a base for them there we can carry out mission upgrade them n equip them with Better gear. Maybe customize there clothing and let us attack other bases with them for them to claim and have it as a constant tug of war where the bases you gain can be retaken by the enemy. Add air defense sniper towers. Let Us build a bad ass base. Also add flairs on helicopter n planes to fight again air defenses. Back to A.I. teams. If I customize there guns to run a grenade launcher let them use it. This is my opinion it kinda do way with the 2 primaries for AI. Let them use the primary that they are given for sync shots. Let us attach suppressor to lmgs

I don't see why everyone is crapping out Ubisoft for not wanting Ghost Recon to be a First Person Shooter! Last time I checked PS5 and Xbox doesn't have anything like this. Please explain to me one open world FPS that has the same formula of a Ghost Recon game for any Console? The only thing that comes even remotely close to it is PUBG and that's only a Battle Royal and Cod Warzone and you gotta find weapons, you don't get your own load out, you don't get to plan missions, you're not fighting NPC's in a co-op of 4 or even maybe 8 players in these other games, there ain't no dynamic weather changes or day and night cycle, if the AI ain't shat you'll actually have use skill tactical clearing techniques rather having a god mode view of seeing enemies when your covered behind some wall not even peaking, plus it make ten times the more sense to use that handheld drone that usually put in a Ghost recon game more often when playing in a First person perspective. Your best argument is you want your character customization to be shown, you can probably get that while doing melee attacks animations like in Call of Duty so wat da fuq y'all's problem! Take a chill pill btw Ghost Recon would be going back to its routes anyway, gat outta here with that dat dat bologna and shove it down your throat! Basically eat your own words scrubs!

Ive liked all the Ghost Recon games, but some of their best work, IMO, has been Wildlands and the customization of Breakpoint, so now, they are gonna take all that away, only go with just the gun works side of that, IMO, that really sucks...I loved the kits, gears, uniforms, etc, that they offered, to make your character look as close, or as far, to/from a real soldier as possible...Maybe if they add 1st, 3rd, as options, that would be cool, but just copying Modern Warfare kinda sucks, again, in my opinion anyhow...

I love Ghost Recon and my favorite game all-time is Wildlands! I appreciated how Ubisoft owned up to the Breakpoint mess and tried very hard to correct it. I eventually did purchase Breakpoint for $30, but mostly as a thank you to Ubisoft for acknowledging their mistake. I've tried to like Breakpoint, with the AI teammates, but I just can't get into the game. Wildlands will always be king in my book. As for this new game. I'll be fair to it and give it a chance. However, I'm already leaning to never buy it. I HATE 1st person view, even though I knowledge it's by far more popular. Also, COD games SUCK!!! They all do! I had to go over to someone's house and have them show me the current COD Modern Warfare game, 3 I think it was. It was everything I have always known about COD games. It SUCKED!!! No open world, no customization and the game always directs the player with missions and where to go. Play a STUPID COD game, then go play Ghost Recon Wildlands. If you can't see the difference, then you are STUPID!!! AND COD GAMES ARE NOT TACTICAL! I have never liked COD games ever as I don't like "run n gun" or "spray n pray" type shooters. Funny how so many IDIOTS actually think COD games are actually some sort of tactical gameplay. smh Anyway, my point is, hearing that Ubisoft is taking a page out of the COD book isn't a good start for me. BUT, I'm open minded and understand how popular the COD games are. If I don't like it, so what?! No one will care and either will I. Although I build expensive gaming computers (My new system will run Arrow Lake - 15900k/ RTX 5080), I'm actually not much of a gamer. I have a life and don't spend all day playing video games like Gen Z does. Honestly, I wish Sony would end their contract with Activision so they could go back to making SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs games. Ghost recon in first person... I'm not gonna buy it I can already tell they have no idea what WE want ... People liked wildlands they didn't like breakpoint, what would be the logical thing to do in such case ? Make something closer to wildlands that feels more real not some bullshit predator drones that fly at 50 meters over the ground... If they want to make something make it make sense and feel right not some bs done by idiots who never saw or heard a drone in real life since that shit is hella loud same with a chopper ! So we want a spec ops type game in 3rd person with real customization for guns gears and tier one type mission (preferably in open world) What are they gonna give us ? Some bullshit 1st person shooter that won't be any better than modern warfare (wich is a dumb game that souldn't even be compared with ghost recon) We want to play as american top secret tier one operators not some crappy soap macdumbich remake with shitty jokes every 2 minutes.

Yeah they just need to add doors and door interaction with enemies in the building that don't just run out when loud. They need to stay inside , shoot from window and through doors and move objectives around etc. We need to be able to chopper in , repel from the choppers , crash through windows and doors etc.

Can you please explain to me those fps open world games to me and do they have a squad of teammates in any of them, maybe aircraft, squad leader command abilities, maybe you could get 3rd person melee combat animations or switch between your teammates or be admired for your characters customization skills in coop with your friends hmmm?

Why change the formula the Ghost Recon games were getting close to RockStar level all they had to do was add to the game, like add underwater swimming from the Tomb Raider games which they make, add a rappeling gun to climb any building or mountain, add breakable windows for ambush or a quick escape, add disbursement with heavy weapons or weapons mods, etc, not subtract even GTA 5 added 1st person with their game not change it to 1st person only what a dumb move if so.
