My theory is that awakening the sharingan/ms through empathy/sympathy and protection of a loved one causes a much stronger awakening than through the grief of a loved one's death. I.e. Obito with his sharingan to protect his friends, and even Madara awakened his 1 tomoe sharingan at the thought of losing Hashirama as his best friend and realizing they would eventually have to fight. They both went on to have insanely gifted MS's, Obito with his Kamui and Madara with his ability to manipulate time.

I would argue that Sarada's will isnt to save Boruto. It's to illuminate the truth. Which is why she has a sun pattern. This also completely ends the curse of hatred because if speculation is right and Madara's ability was to see through clones, Madara's will was that he didn't want to be tricked. The shadow clone jutsu and like were the only jutsu capable of tricking the sharingan. So Madara gained the ability to see through lies. Sarada's will is the polar opposite. She doesn't want to not be tricked. She wants everyone ELSE to not be tricked or lied to. Madara saw through lies for himself. Sarada sees through lies for others, sharing that truth with everyone. That ability isnt inhibited just as any other mangekyou ability. So it will even work on ootsuki and she'll probably gain an enhanced version mirroring EMS. Against Ootsuki Susanoo is useless, so she'll wear the the armor to exceed human limits and go toe to toe with them. Fighting Eida requires an equal power so Sarada's ability will probably fully be realized (or symbolized) as omniscience. Eida is the dark feminine, sarada is the divine feminine in the light. Just like Boruto being divine masculine in the light and Kawaki being lost in the shadow. Which is even more interesting because Sasuke's rinnegan ability awakened in the war was probably a manifestion of his hidden desire to switch places with Naruto. Kawaki ironically fulfilled that will against Boruto and now Sasuke is training the person whos place was switched.

Sasuke didn’t awaken his rinnegan because he wanted to switch places with him. He got it because Kabuto pumped him full of hashirama cells which enabled him to meet with Hagoromo, and then when Hagoromo gave his chakra to Sasuke is when he awakened it. Other than that, I like this theory!

The speculation that sarada unlocked the mangekyo out of falling in love with boruto is completely false because it would miss the bigger picture that she just heard that naruto her mentor just got killed and that boruto her friend and team mate who is innocent got blamed for it. If the uchiha unlock the sharingan just by falling in love with someone then obito would have unlocked it a long time when rin got captured or even before the mission where she got captured. The principle of the sharingan being unlocked is based on the desire to protect and save someone. Not because of some cupid feelings. It's sort like dragonball z. I also made the connection that Sarada was based on Ame-no-Uzume, but I only made this connection do to multiple factors. It’s no coincidence that Itachi had Amaterasu and Sasuke had Kagutsuchi which are all fire based deities. Also the biggest factor being that Ame-no-Uzume is the goddess of Dawn that saved the world from eternal night. I honestly believe that the eternal night is Ada because her senrigan ability is specified that it cannot be undone. Another factor that proves this is the eye patterns.

I think this will probably lead to a Sarada vs Eida fight that will end in a talk. From everything we know Sumerie and Sarada know that Eida is involved, and with this information they may start taking Shikamaru's words into heart more as they plan what to do next. Currently right now they don't know that killing Eida won't reverse the effects, but if Sarada looks up to naruto then it's possible she is more willing to talk things out to her. Leaving the world in a eternal winter with shibia solely manipulating it. That's why it violates the otsosuki clans rules to love some one. As it unlocks the potential to awaken a sharigan. Hagoromo's sharingan progression took place same way as rest of the Uchiha where he had to see his brother die to progress his sharingan to next level and this took place before the cylce of hatred began. So what doesn't makes sense to me is since there was no cycle of hatred going on and Hagoromo loved his brother so why didn't his sharingan progression took place same way as Sarada where his sharingan should have been progressed to next level when he saw his brother was in a bind and was being controlled against his will same way how Sarada awakened her mangekyou sharingan when Boruto was in a bind and was being chased by the whole village. Can anyone explain this to me?

Actually Indra got his sharingan when he protected his brother… his sharingan grew from bad stuff and loosing loved ones all that but he got it by actually protecting his brother…. He just believed in lies that was his problem ….. he didn’t loose anything and still got the sharingan but believed someone telling him lies telling him he needed to loose precious things…

I believe the only was this prophecy didn’t go momshikis way is if future boruto interfered. He said he doesn’t like where this is going. Boruto was perfectly ok with the moment of losing everything which confuses me. I believe future boruto will bring sasukes eyes to Sarada after his death and force her to implant his eyes. Boruto keeps the swords and cloak sarada keeps the eyes. They will always be connected in some way. And it fits borutos dark character of cutting sasukes eyes out rather than force sarada to do it.

Can we finally acknowledge how powerful the neo ohtsutski will be? Sarada genetically has uchiha genetics and enhanced hashirama cells via sasuke which she has now unlocked a unique MS with as well as the ridiculous chakra control training that she will likely have from sakura now. If she does have a child with boruto later on, it's likely that momoshiki inadvertently created a new and likely more powerful branch of the clan by accidentally combining kaguya and his own genetics as boruto is now essentially an ohtsutski hybrid that has purely human traits. Any child born of this combination will likely possess at least a Rinnegan, potentially a jougan, an the ability to unlock the byakugan and even the 9 tomoe Rinnegan like kaguya did and even the possibility of having two extra eyes like momoshiki

Lmao I'm fine with how she awakened her MS btw, it was always my understanding that the MS was a result of an extreme emotional response, whether that be love, pain, loss, rage, hate, ect. So I'm good with it, I mean Itachi didn't kill Shisui, Sasuke didn't kill Itachi. It was the overwhelming emotion. Not necessarily tru she’d still go blind it’ll just stall it also she’d be draining her life by using that technique like sakara she uses it religiously she will be without a doubt the first to die naturally (if they stick with what they said about the technique) only reason tsunade isn’t dead is because she’s senju sakara is just a regular person with great chakra control so if sarada used it constantly to heal her eyes she will eventually die…..again that’s if they stick to what they originally said about the technique all it does is speed up your cells healing ability that’s it and ofc gives you a boost in chakra for a very limited time

If the MS born of hatred can lose light, it may be due to hatred being something that while powerful is an emotion that can blind you to any other possibilities, it takes, but love is a powerful emotion that gives everything and continues to give aka an unending light, a beacon even. Yo ABD idk if you've thought about this or discussed it but what if Eida is only able to use omnipotent because Shibai is dormant inside of her and is waiting for the perfect moment to wake up. Think of it this way, Boruto is only this strong because of Momoshiki and Kawaki is also only this strong because of Isshiki. Now Eida's ability is a god-level ability which cannot be used to it's full extent because of it's vessel,now I think that Shibai isn't actually dead after all he is the god in the boruto verse and it wouldn't make sense for him to die so easily. I think that Eida possesing omnipotent is just a way of them showing us that something bigger might come up.
