Really enjoying this series as Finn doesn't get all hyperbolic about the academy players. For a young fella he's got a sensible head on his shoulders.

The first team is shit, so why talk about loaning out the youngsters, get them into first team contention and then loan out the shit currently in the first team. Rashford and Bruno would probably do all right at Blackpool or Wigan. Grimsby are looking for a number 3 keeper so that's Onana sorted.

@TrueRed19943 күн бұрын
People need to chill on Obi Martin. You can’t really gauge a player in Under-18’s when you’re that much bigger than everyone else. Anyone who’s played football at youth level will know what I mean, there’s always that one kid that physically years ahead of everyone else, it’s like a sixth former joining in with the year 7’s. It’ll be interesting to see how he matches up vs proper men, because technically he’s not that great, not a natural finisher despite the goals tally, a lot of his finishes are scuffy, rarely pure’s or times the ball well, his close control isn’t great, naturally won’t be due to his long frame. He didn’t wow in a way Ryan Giggs did at 17, or Wayne Rooney, or Mason Greenwood.

Exactly lol especially when his competition is going to be our Jimmy Murphy player of the year whose already somewhat broke into the first team..
