Dart Zone gave us the original Adventure Force Nexus Pro on Walmart store shelves nearly 4 years ago, and completely changed the NERF game forever. Now they've done it again. This unbelievable blaster is going to put the pressure on anybody else trying to make a pump-action foam dart primary.

I managed to get my hands on one a few days ago and and I’ve had the sight working great at around 15 meters. The aperture also isn’t bad for longer distances, just aim with the top crosshair and not the center. The lower barrel hasn’t been a big deal.

Dang, dart zone really has just been killing it ever since the original nexus pro. It’s amazing to see how much performance has been normalized for out of the box products compared to a decade ago or so when the nerf elite line was in its prime.

i don't think you mentioned, but it doesn't have backwards compatibility with older dart zone mags. works perfectly with talons tho, and they did say they'll sell their talons separately

I think the OG sights for the Nexus Pro were actually pretty good. You could adjust elevation on the fly.

My OG Nexus broke within two months of use, after that I bought a Worker Seagull. The difference in quality was substantial, however, the Nexus had a charm to it. It just felt like it could take a lot more punishment and I actually had a bit more fun using it. It's like comparing an old AK to a fancy AR. This new Nexus X is priced the same, and has features that the Seagull doesn't (slamfire, a free falling mag and an out-the-box 200fps performance). I might buy it one day

apparently according to certain laws in certain countries having a replica scope that is actually functional(laser, red dots etc) is illegal (mostly applied to bb gun attachments) but i assume dart zone took the safer route

You should have tested the Nexus Pro with the BCAR attachment as well! Pitting a BCAR/PCAR/SCAR blaster against one without any rifling isn’t a fair comparison IMO.

The Nexus Pro was undoubtedly one of our favorite blasters out there. And yet somehow they managed to make it even better for the same price. Honestly we'll probably stick with the original since it can fire both full length AND short darts, but damn if the Nexus Pro X isn't a tempting purchase

Update: The High power spring plus spacer and lower power spring for the nexus pro X has just been released

@@mrsoisauce9017 Yes, the set itself includes the upgrade spring with two 8mm spacers that will get you 250 fps but there's also a weaker spring with no spacers that will get you sub 130 fps.

PSA for X-Shot Longshot Pro owners that are considering this blaster: Yes, the included BCAR and PCAR works FLAWLESSLY with the Longshot. And of course, the Longshot's magazine works with the X while looking absolutely WICKED on it. Just get the Nexus Pro X, even if it makes you kinda regret having the Longshot (because the X just hits so much harder and feel higher quality), the cross compatibility is super nice.

I gotta get one as an airsoft shotgun. I discovered you can slit the darts and turn them around with the centers big enough to put bbs in. Im probably gunna have to model out some ends to hold the darts closed for mag use.

Just got my Nexus Pro X on the same day as me writing this comment, and it quickly replaced my Max Stryker as my marksman rifle. However, if I need a real sniper, my modified Dart Zone Pro Mk 4 does still come out on top!

Just a couple questions about the pro x: can it muzzle load mega and rival like the pro can, do the scars work on the pro, and could the spring of this work in the pro? I prefer the pro because locally we only use full lengths so i wouldnt get any use of this BUT i wouldnt mind canibalizing it mainly because i want the purple storage stock it comes with but if the scar and spring works too thats great

The nexus pro X is honestly amazing and i cant wait to get my hands on one from blaster time soon, dart zone really knocked it out of the park with this, to keep the price the same as the original nexus pro but improve literally everything single thing and include a bcar and pcar is absolutely mad, another thing is that as the end cap which keeps the spring in is the same as the original that means you should be able to use existing 3d printed spacers, also i think you mentioned it in the video but dart zone are planning to release a upgrade and downgrade spring for this with the upgrade and a 8mm spacer from dart zone themselves they it should be able to hit 250 fps, and sub 120 with the lower power spring, Also im now curious to see if the max stryker 2.0 is the same as this in a different shell or something slightly different 😊😊. Also that air seal is just *Chef's kiss.*
