This may be the worst situation we've ever saw for a team in the history of college football. No team has undergone this. Literally there are coaches openly purchasing Alabama's player. The players are showing the money offers, which is considered 'tampering' whatever that is. But, the NCAA will not intervene. Tampering is the least of the problems being shown here. Alabama is really biting the bullet for the NCAA on this.

Yeah Saban's protege's are everywhere but Bryant's last Offensive coordiantor retired just a short time ago after winning Brady's last ring for him (Bruce Arians). I’m a believer that the SEC is the best conference in college football, but in today’s game, nil and the portal, is coaching and recruiting in the sec that much different than other conferences, it may have once been but today all of the big school recruit nationwide so I don’t believe coaching and recruit8ng is so dif and even the way teams play in the sec is becoming less and less different from other conferences , the competition is still better in the sec but imo that’s all.

The NCAA needs to get off their bottoms and figure out how these contracts should look so they are fair to both the players and the programs paying them. Players today are pampered, coddled, and all about themselves! Very few are willing to take the difficult road in front of them or face adversity. They want it all layed-out for them! Watching these players leave programs(not just Alabama)shows how the traditional elements that made college football so successful for so many years, has basically been destroyed. Players now will have played with multiple teams by the time they are done. They care more about the NIL money and guaranteed playing time, than the history and proud tradition of the team they are on. It's now all "individualism" first and "team/group" last. This will completely wreck this sport and cause marginal fans to leave in droves!

When has Deboer ever had to play games with his own recruiting class in this division of football? The correct answer is, NEVER. Deboer fled the UW because he had an empty cupboard. Only 25% of the UW team showed up for his final team meeting. That speaks volumes as to what his own recruits thought of him. Which Huskies are entering the transfer portal expecting to play for him at Alabama, other than no one? How many of Saban's recruits are leaving Alabama with no interest in DeBoer?
