Thanks Rhonda. Wish I had tuned in earlier. Some tense conversation at the office. We really need to lean on the Lord and ask Him for the words to speak. 🙏

Amen! I am sorry you had a rough morning, I've walked through days like that, and I know my responses then would be totally more hurtful than what I would try to respond with today...Yes, the Lord has to be guide us ~ I really think it is a journey and the more we stumble forward, the more balance I believe we will gain...praying today is a new day with a new outlook! We GROW through what we GO through, my friend ;)

✝️🌻...this is the time for our "lights" to shine.(Yet, doesn't He tell us NOT to offend???)
@Seasonedwithsalt683 ай бұрын
Morning, Carlitta! I think when we speak His truth in love, it will still be offensive (hurtful) to those who do not believe or know Christ, maybe like we do in our heart. Just like how we can fall prey to being offended (hurt) by those who don't walk with Jesus...I know we are to "not be easily offended (hurt)" but I'm human, and I have to admit, I just can't understand with all the evidence God has given us in Scripture, that there are folks who stand in opposition of Him and His expectation/ways...if that makes sense... For example ~ Initially, I can feel a reflex to respond when my husband uses foul language...it hurts my heart BUT....I am learning to not allow that "offense or hurt" to be taken to my heart because I know, at this moment, our journey with God are on different plains...I stumble less over foul language because I've been walking and transforming longer than he has...and at this time, my nagging him on his speech would not be as encouraging as when the Holy Spirit gets ahold of his tongue...hope that helps...Such a good question! (maybe a great video topic!)

🥱☕🦅🧦Morning, Rhonda, subbie-friend here...aw, storytime :) how timely is this🕯️ Where did you find that story? I was listening to Tony Perkins this morning reading from Joel, another timely message also! I love when our LORD does that, don't you? (*and can you guess my picto-graph hint at the beginning of my comment?)

Morning, Deborah! This is from my Book of Mysteries by Jonathan Cahn...it's 365 days worth of daily thoughts from a Jewish background/standpoint. It's been very interesting and helps me understand some deeper meaning into their culture, too!
