does Die Hard count as a Christmas Movie? in my brain it does. 1. Jingle all the Way 2. is Trains Planes and Automobiles a Christmas Film? I don't remember which Holiday they're trying to get home for? 3. Any of the Santa Clause Movies if you're in the Mood for some Tim Allen 4. you could always go with the Classics like Miracle on 34th Street or A Christmas Story or It's a Wonderful Life.

What most likely happened was tim burton wrote a few story beats said i want that animated and didnt care to world build or create a cohesive story.

From what I understand he was busy with Batman so he hired Selick to direct because he trusted him. The story is all Burton though. And the script was the way it was because the person they hired didn’t fulfill his contract and they had to animate the songs first and kind of go from there.
