I feel like that is something pleasant though. The information on nihangs is out there on the Internet in detail, the beauty of this video is that for once we get to truly watch and observe the nihangs without the religious context shadowing over. I guess that's what it is I enjoyed observing them without having to think about anything else but their aesthetics. And they are truly remarkable to watch.

If anything, it is short and sweet introduction to a sacred warrior culture, that is all but unknown in the west. King Arthur subtext is fitting way to make seemingly foreign familiar and intimate for the audience. I think it was very tasteful and more people will learn about the glorius akali feats.

Nihangs used to be rich in Sikh empire times with armour and all sorts of weapons now this is the remnant of the past . Lots of Sikhs work and live a normal life , very few nihangs left because Nihang life is away from family and always on the horse ready for war against the oppressor and invaders nobody cares now only a few thousand men who are nihangs can be found in Punjab today. King Arthur subtext and the voice ruined the video for me. It is an actual,unintended yet high disrespect to Nihang singhs lives as they are not following a King's order yet the ultimate God's order. And " FAME" is an alien feeling for a Nihang. A Nihang is AkalPurkh's Warrior not any Man's and a Nihang's guidance book, a true north, and living Guru is Guru Granth Sahib.. Akal Purakh is the almighty and Guru Granth Sahib the direction, encyclopedia and true master to lead to Akal Purakh. I and many Sikhs who know even an iota of truth about real Sikhs and Nihangs would have a real problem with the subtext. Its almost an insult and I wonder why the director did not do enough research on this. Unfortunately, the message got lost if there was even one intended.

The reason I hate this Govt is because they have spread so much communal hate in this country that reason has left every argument. I know many people would land to this video after today's unfortunate incident, but what everyone needs to understand is that you cannot generalize and blame whole community for a wrong done by a few. Violence and unlawful actions must be discouraged by everyone and such people must be punished under the law. Being a Muslim, I can relate to this even more as I feel and see the hate propagated by the fake nationalists of this country. This has been happening around us since 2014. If a Muslim or a group of Muslims do something wrong, they must be punished under law and they are the only ones responsible for their actions not all the Muslims. If a few Nihang Sikhs have done something wrong, they are the ones to be punished and not all the Nihangs or the whole Sikh community be judged. If a group of people come in mob and beat someone to death just on the basis of a weak suspicion of butchering a cow, those people are the ones to be punished. It doesn't mean that the whole Hindu community is bad and thinks the same as those crazies. People must understand what is being served to them by the news channels and the politicians. Hate politics is their best weapon to maintain a state of chaos in the country while they can fulfill their interests behind the scene. It is not that Congress or some other party is good. It is the people that need to come together and keep questioning the ministers and respected people in power, whether they be of any religion, caste, ethnicity or political party. It is only with the help of peace, love and unity we can fight and defeat every problem be it internal or external. Then we can think of this country to be be better place to live in. ✌️❤️

Highly unlikely. They will get punishment that they deserve but nobody will investigate what went wrong and what was the police's approach when these men were first asked to stop. I have seen the cops hitting first and asking questions later so anything is possible.

When lockdown has been imposed you are not allowed to move out and if you have to then you need a curfew pass but of them only one had the curfew pass. How the police can allow them to visit sabji mandi without the pass? Police said we will only allow the one of you who has the pass. Breaking laws chopping off hands and the people in sabji mandi were also saying these people never paid for what they took. Is this a example of bravery? I know police are also not that good but in this case these criminals has no say. What a good citizen does is that if you are not allowed to visit then you will go to the police station and and ask for a pass rather than showing false proud and trying to kill.

Sikhs wanted to become part of India since independence and voted against a Khalistan in 1947. Also, don't forget that in 1984 there were only congress mobs killing people. In Delhi, my parents saved many Sikhs and all neighbourhoods would have a system to save Sikhs. All the Sikhs in the neighbourhood moved into the houses of the Hindus to save them when mobs came. Hindus helped Sikhs unconditionally in 1984. Don't forget that congress mobs were full of Muslims too. You are stupid and a one sided thinker who doesn't know anything about history.
