The Japanese version features an option for "Simple Start" compatible routers released exclusively in Japan. This can still be enabled in the US version. At the very end of the calibration process, when asked to press the spot at the square's center, press its bottom-right corner instead. When you enter Step 2 in the in-game Wi-Fi configuration menu, you can access this option by pressing the pixel in the top-left corner of the Touch Screen.

I remember before I had Wi-Fi at my house, I searched all over for one of those Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connectors. No one knew what the heck I was talking about. I never did get one, and I wasn't able to connect to Wi-Fi until I got a 3DS. Thanks GameStop.

My DS is still connected Online on MKDS and ACWW and Tetris DS online! I was losing to much on Tetris DS but I had fun! Playing MKDS online was also great! Me and this guy was jumping around in Figure 8 circuit! Lol 😆

It's funny though how the Switch has a touchscreen and a lot of games in which it could be easily utilized however, it is neglected in a lot of these games where it could make dragging and dropping an item or pressing a selection easier and more efficient. I don't understand why nintendo chose to go back on their touchscreen considering how great the DS/3DS was but I have that feeling that it was because the Wii U didn't give touchscreen consoles a very good rep...

I think it's because of the tv mode. You can't use the touch screen in tv mode, so if you can use it at all it's some minor use that is more of a Easter egg

Pretey sure "city Boy" was the future name for project Iris, not the DS, it was never released and most of the hw and sw was recycled for the DS anyway, but there are working prototypes of it, so its fair to call it its own thing.
