Way back when I was considering getting a Switch, Prime 4 was one of the games on the "to be released" list that made my decision. And while I by no means regretted said decision (running out of memory even after expanding here!), I've still been eagerly awaiting it!

The Sony's state of play was terrible. then the xbox showcase was super good but that doesn't even matter because the xbox series x is so far behind the competition that it's just not enough. And the final switch 1 direct is one of the best directs ever Nintendo, if the switch 2 is done right and there is a lot of evidence that it will go well then I think Nintendo has pretty much won all of gaming. Sony and especially Microsoft are not going to recover from this

I honestly think they might keep Switch going until 2027 as well, or third-party will. I hope that the next console brings back Nintendo charm. Durability is one thing, but I would like to see the hardware incorporate features from past consoles that could make the experience of “Switch 2” just simply better in handheld AND home console, as well as a performance upgrade. Better controllers, Streetpass a stylus could be neat, etc.

@@ethantreadway9478I don’t know enough about development behind BDSP but apparently ILCA was planning a lot more but couldn’t unleash their true potential because of either time constraints or not being allowed to. Not too sure but I feel like we haven’t seen their true potential. If they’re the ones behind Brothership, then they’ve done an amazing job so far. Tbh, they’re not a terrible company, they’re known for developing Pokémon HOME as well so they ain’t dreadful. It’s just…… well BDSP was just dry compared to typical Pokémon remakes

Sorry, but DKC Returns doesn't look better than Dark Moon HD. I can tell Next Level Games put in some legit effort into that remaster, even though it's overpriced, it doesn't look like a botched port. The "remaster" for Returns looks like crap. I'll defend Skyward Sword HD and even Luigi's Mansion 2 HD to a far smaller extent, but I can't defend this re-release of Returns. It literally looks like a less awful Sonic Colors Ultimate.

honestly, the SteamDeck killed the charm of the Switch for me. Now, this level of flexibility is a requirement. I'll trade power for flexibility. Ironically, even though I don't step away from larger screens very often, I still like knowing I can whenever I need to.
