Did you guys move the adjustment buckles up on the new suspended design? It now looks like the buckle is right where your gun butt meets your chest. If so, that’s a problem.

Howdy, neither the buckles or straps interfere with shouldering a gun at all. They're extremely low profile and adjustable.

Why only have the smallest waist size in the 30 in. inseam? What about athletic short guys that don’t tiny waists?

Take them to a tailor and have them hemmed for $15.

@@chaseguerrette365 I get it, I wear 30" inseam as well. They run a business. They can't make every combination of sizing out there. Gotta do the research and make decisions based on ROI.

Hey Chase, we build to accommodate the widest ranges of sizes possible while ensuring a functional fit. Unfortunately we can't build sizes to match every exact body type. That said, usually a seamstress or tailor can make slight adjustments to best suit your size.

Would you please provide a fit comparison of the Obisidian Foundary to the Obsidian since you are changing from an elastic waist to a rigid waist? Those of us with more muscular legs could use a more detailed explanation of the fit than what was provided in the video so that we can order the appropriate waist size to accomodate thigh room. For instance, "order your size in blue jeans" is very vague since there are many different cuts of blue jeans.

@@FirstLiteHuntingApparel would you please provide more detail? I wear a medium Obsidian, so I'm familiar with the leg room on that pant. But, to provide a better context, it would beneficial to know how thigh room changes from the rigid waist sizes in the Obsidian Foundry. For example, a large Obsidian fits 34-36 waist. Is the 36 waist Obsidian Foundry cut the same through the thigh as the 34 reflecting the fit of a Large Obsidian pant or is the 36 in the Obsidian Foundry going to be roomoer through the thigh than 34? A description like this for all of the sizes or providing a thigh measurement in your size chart would be helpful.

@@FirstLiteHuntingApparel Generally, 31-33 in the waist and 30-31 inseam. While I do really appreciate you taking the time to guide me in a selection, my request isn't just for me specifically. Since First Lite has a direct-to-consumer model, providing more information regarding fit on your website or in your nitty gritty fit videos would save a lot of guesswork on the consumer end as well as time and overhead (in the form of processing and storing less returns) on the business end. For instance, while above is my general sizing, even though I wear a medium in the Obsidian, I had to go up to a 34 waist in the Guide Light to get a good fit through the legs. With all that said, I can't say how psyched I am about the design of the Obsidian Foundry. I've been asking for this specific hybrid design for a couple years. You guys really knocked it out of the park with this one.

Elk season in Texas is year round and if you shoot a bear you get federal prison time. Is there a way to use temperature ranges when explaining the application of the pants best usage?

You should really exchange my original obsidians they have been junk, tear out ever time I wear them. Have never made a day without having to take them in for repairs.

I really like ya'lls stuff. But you keep saying what ya'll keep in mind. YA'LL DO KNOW NOT EVERYONE IS 6' PLUS TALL. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a true 30" inseam. The last thing I wanna do is pay $200 plus for a pair of pants then have them taken to a seamstress and then pay them to hem my BRAND NEW PANTS UP.
