The Noble Steed: ARRMA Infraction v2 gets HOBBYWING Max6 1650kv combo. 1st run

What's up, y'all? Remember the last vid when I said I had a new combo combo for The Noble Steed? Well... it's here and installed. The ‪@HOBBYWINGOfficial‬ Max6 1650kv combo. Sure... other combos are proven faster. This isn't a pure speed build. The goal is a basher that can waste tires at 70+ mph all day and then hit 100mph with a spool and pinion swap without breaking a sweat. All on 6s. We'll see how this goes!

I have the same set up!! But use some silicone on diff to put all four tires at same amount of power. Went the Robinson racing 40t spur gear..42/54/100 powerhobby wheels the grippers...I know we well most dont like prep but a little dosen't hurt to get the real numbers your looking for!! No spinning...mine came with I think 27t pion which most have the 25t?? Last the triggers a spektrum dx5c she scats..just order the katpack ripple killer..after that I'm not sure what's left bc I'll be dragging my rig only!! So lighting the load I'm sure!! All carbon fiber! Oh yeah xt90s also...so great video!! I'm now following your growth!! Best of wishes from Georgia!! Last I did order the NHX heatsink fans...only two fans but need like four she got hot on yesterday and cut off..✌

I want the same set up, but I'm nervous about the grub screw might come lose..and no c claps like spectrum

I've actually swapped this out for a max5 g2 1100kv combo. I got a little power hungry haha! But the max6 g2 is out now and even better than before. With a little loctite, the grub screws aren't really an issue. Especially if you use gears with the D shape like the stock ARRMAs 👊🏿

Thanks! 👊🏿 I've kept the 1650kv combo but I'm runnin a 17t pinion for now. I haven't decided on what fans to go with and need a couple new pinions to try out.

@@gonzodetroitify yea, the 17t is for constant running on 6s. It has a little room to gear up though. I hit the 100 with the 34t spool gear and 31t pinion on 8s. It honestly had more in it but I wasn't ready haha

It was running around 79mph how it was geared in this vid. I had it at 97 the other day. Vid coming soon. Just picked up another pinion gear today to try for 100mph

For general bashing, I'll run 25t pinion on stock diff. For speed I have a 34t spool and ran a 29t pinion on 8s for 97mph.
