Something important to remember about Ravenous Hunger (W Quest) is that it will give you a shit ton of stacks if you kill a hero with its mechanic. The talent is amazing for laning, yes, but one shouldn't forget about it in teamfights; that damage scaling can get brutal.

I love how flexible Orphea is. One of my favorite heroes for sure. The E build is good, the Q build is good, the infinite stacking is good, it's just dependent on the game and your playstyle.

When using jaws, I find it works best to throw your e and then drop your r on top of the circle of the e. Then use the q to dash in and pop the w for the sick damage.

I loved Orphea release but then they changed it where you share a cooldown with your chomp and the talent which allows you to chomp from dread. The damage you got was great but you had to play offensive so there was a trade off. I like the chomp quest since it scales really well if you can get the minion kills etc. and it works well with the ability i mentioned earlier casting it from dread pool.

It's worth taking the mind devourer quest on 7 since you almost always want to go for the E talents on lvl 1 and 4. It takes about 5-7 minutes to complete the quest and making your E spammable is insanely good. The extra dmg from the chomp quest is good, but the E talent essentially doubles your E dmg, while it also allows you to set up kills for your team more often.

My personal noob friendly build involves the additional health at lvl 4 and cooldown reduction for w at 7. You just dance around fights and skillshot enemies cant do anything to you. Plus you have more health which is always good. And vs a dive heavy team, having an easy dash backwards is always useful I feel, if you're not confident with your q. Idk why I said that here but whatever, those are my two cent on orphea noob build.

Hey Pally, I LOVE Orphea and gotta say my pick for level 7 (if there's a healer on my team) is Insatiable. Combo'd with the q I've chased and slaughtered many tanks across the map omnomnoming the whole way. You'll have to head back for mana more , but it's SOOOO worth it.

I am not sure what the Nova players plan was. In my opinion one of the strengths of a character with stealth is that they can more easily move behind enemy lines and strike where you don't expect them to. Her first talent Advanced Cloaking just perfect for that play style. But instead she was staying mid lane behind her tanks for most of the game. That lead to both Aba player and Pally feeling vary safe in there top and bot lanes even when Pally was vary low on health at times.

id say the level 7 talent is based on whether or not the map allows you to stay in lane for any period of time. IE if its a two lane map, take the other talent, if its not, take Ravenous Hunger. The only other thing I would say is you might want to take the chomp movement talent if your new to playing orphea, it will give you allot more movement which will allow you to learn how to be aggressive with the character.

The hungers health restore is so valuable in a one v many situation. As long as u kill one of them in a combo u cannot die.

Except this is less true with the catapult changes. Getting a 'pult every 3rd wave in middle is nothing to just ignore. Especially since you only really go for the bosses on that map if you're already super far ahead. I'd say nuking the Fort is worth it for the early 'pults, and ignoring the Keep until the other two Keeps are down.

I feel that this wasn't a good QM example to showcase her strength.. Friendly team is cohesive and supportive, Anduin acting like a god, everyone rushes objectives and communicates. Meanwhile the enemy is playin ARAM, Alex diving behind enemy lines with dragon on her own, Nova not even looking to hunt Pally etc.. This was more like a best case scenario match. A great friendly and a horrible enemy.

Imo she's too strong. High burst, wave clear, mobility AND self healing. Being high skillcap hero doesn't really warrant that much power. If this seriously keeps going this direction we're gonna get a hero at some point that has like 500 health but one shots anyone and everyone across the screen.

Flibber Nodgets Nah, she fits right in as far as I’m concerned. And I hope the devs get a chance to make another original hero like her. If Orphea is anything to go by, future Nexus-born heroes will be very interesting to see. At this point, Blizzard has put in so many of their established characters, I’m not even sure who I’d want next at this point. All the wants I really want (or know that I want) are already here. I could maybe think of a couple Starcraft characters (Mengsk and Edmund Duke), but besides that, I’m pretty much good to go with the roster as is.

I tried jumping into League for the first time in like seven years and barely made it through the first game. Uninstalled it again because too much of a 40+ minute match is a slow snorefest before you actually get into any action.
