Lionheart I think if you upgrade the dock near London facing France past where you get first rates you might be able to unlock the HMS Victory which would be very useful to your fleet. Just a suggestion also you should have a fleet comprised of 8 1st rates and in the same fleet have 8 second rates and 4 fire ships to attack enemy vessels

My personal experience with this mod is that the Indian and Islamic factions have exceptional cavalry, especially their archer cavalry. Great stats in both shooting and melee, good morale, very affordable, and usually slightly larger in regiment size than the European equivalents. It helps make up for the fact that their musket infantry are, by and large, not as good as their European cousins and don't have bayonets. This balancing makes them interesting to both play against and play as in Empire 2. TL:DR: Indian cavalry spam is very real and very good. Cav on cav fights against them tend to go poorly because they shoot you up badly and then have great melee stats. Which Lionheart discovered painfully. XD

In terms of historical total war games I want to see: #1- Empire 2 (1700-1850) Empire 2 should see the evolution of the musket from the matchlock all the way through percussion cap rifles. #2- Victorian through WW1 (1850-1925) I’m not sure what they would call this one but the Victorian technology is something I would love to see. We got a taste in shogun: fall of the samurai but being able to see it on the battlefields of Europe (and the world) with all the diffferent solutions and innovations made by each nation would be amazing. Seeing the American cavalry with repeaters up against the British with their martini Henry’s or even the French with their Tabatière rifles of the same era but then also slowly transition up through WW1 with machine guns and Long range bolt action rifles. #3- Medieval 3 (1000-1400) Medieval 3 should be on a much grander scale and time period that previous titles I think. It can be done more in terms of different campaigns but I think the ability to take it all the way through if we wanted to would be nice. Weapons could range from shot swords and shields wielded by guys in mostly just clothes with maybe some chainmail if they are lucky to late full plate heavy foot infantry wielding halberds or even the very first European black powder weapons. It would be ambitious yet familiar to players while also providing a lot of flexibility and replay ability to the players.

Have you got a force going to take the Native territory in North East Canada yet? Might want to as it will take ages for them to return to the fight after and I’d send a militia force behind to free up your good units immediately so you’re not losing expensive high tier troops to peace keeping.

If they do not have grenades then why are they called grenadiers?

Not all grenadiers had grenades. Being called Grenadiers also means they are elite melee fighters. For example if he were to charge his grenadiers into an enemy line unit he would annihilate them even if they fired a volley into his grenadiers while they are charging because grenadiers are good with melee.

@@joshuatomson5998 So, then this is the transition period where grenadiers are not simply soldiers with grenades but elite soldiers? I know that the name for the soldiers originally was given to soldiers equipped with grenades but not the history of such units.
